A limited-time wide movie theatre release -----> permanent housing on some streamer a few weeks later would be cool (if our theory is correct).

Weren't the Renaissance visuals still in production up until like November or something? I remember something about her sending a gift to a director/producer/personnel (?), thanking him for his contributions towards it.

She didn't have to win AOTY to have such a nice boost

There's no way the visuals are scrapped lmao. 

Everyone is overthinking the visuals. They clearly decided to go for the long game this time instead of a frontloaded album like the last two eras where it was all at once.

 

The visuals are coming before the tour, probably in March or April, and the album will get yet another boost from them. It seems all according to plan.

yes in early november bey send syd a card saying she was looking over the "film" footage and she did a great job.

 

i don't think she gave up on the visuals, but i have heard there were reshoots. which is not surprising since the ITG teaser already included footage that was shot after bms was released. even if she didn't like the original version of the visuals, she's still had time to come up with new ideas o make them better

Ugh remembred the military wardrobe malfunction at Beychella  but usually Oliviers work with Bey on tour is solid.

I strongly believe we haven't heard any rumors about the visuals since Novemeber simply because the film has been done for a while, nothing has changed.

We're just one click away from the film, they're just waiting for whatever reason to release it

Black is King actually has a lot of similarities to this timeline though.

 

Kwasi Fordjour said BIK took four to six months to film and the editing took about the same amount of time. If Beyoncé began filming RENAISSANCE visuals in Spring/Summer of 2022 and were still filming as of this fall, that would place its debut in the Spring or Summer of this year (8-12 months later).

Add to that the fact that Beyoncé has been concurrently working on a tour, a Dubai performance, and potentially finalizing act ii and/or act iii, plus who knows what else, it doesn't outright seem like she's super behind schedule, if we are using BIK as a reference point.
