"Above social media shenanigans" while trolling on her official website for a week to get the Twitter girls/gays rolling and announcing your single+album through an Insta bio like bffr.  She's not really above it. The same ones praising Cuff It's success (thanks to what challenge on what app?) that is carrying Ren from dwindling down Chromatica-style.

There's a difference to being transparent and properly communicating vs. being desperate doing TikTok challenges.

This, it's about transparency. Beyoncé and her team should fix that part

Beyoncé is far from transparant :chick3:

She knows that she dont owe us anything

Hee catalogue streams are what's weird. Why is that alluding her team? But apparently everything is at this point.

I think it has to do more than what we discovered the day with her old hits being absent from the large throwback playlists made by Spotify. I feel Spotify as a whole became very playlist dependent after 2019 or so. Because like said previously; before Homecoming, The Gift, and Lemonade, her streams were matching Ariana's and Rihanna's.

She isn't above it. You just have to use it right. So far, she only has 1 good TikTok and that's the album booklet. The rest is from insta, that's tragic. Hopefully when she tours, things will change there. She could've promoted the album and singles more in her insta stories. When she posted about the vinyl, it sold out straight after.

Maybe because she went to TIDAL? Spotify won't be helping her lol

I'm sorry but she IS above all the social media shennanigans. Insta, twitter, tick tock w/e. Her instagram could not be more on point I always redirect my girl friends to it to get some sense into their heads.

It plays in her favor to market herself as an old school type of diva & superstar rather than a 'current' & relatable act. It's wouldn't be Beyonce otherwise tbh.

THIS.

Fans love her elevated positioning, but it baffles me that some fans don't get the ingredients that go into it.

Beyonce, with the Queen cape she wears now, does not exist if she's playing in the spaces the other girls play in. It for sure has its drawbacks, but to a degree (to a degree) it's a necessity.

Idk why y'all get heated about streams all the time, I thought it was quite apparent that her core audience that listens to her music is much older than those of the other girls and does not stream her stuff non stop on spotify just because

She's a 90s act for God's sake, the fact that she's still pulling the numbers she's pulling is amazing. Nobody from that era is seeing her.

Her spotify numbers should be the last of our worries right now :skull:

People keep saying this but do we have any actual receipts?

Considering Ariana has had 3 smash albums since 2016 I'm not sure how Bey was supposed to keep up. As far as Rihanna, once again it's the streaming era hits... Bey doesn't have this. She has a few mid tier 400-500m songs but the other girls have tracks pulling in 1b. I don't think it's down to playlisting.

This is true. Things could be worse, look at P!nk!!! flopping hard

Can we even at this point assume she can still deliver a killer tour? Like honestly, our image of her is based around Homecoming, which happened 4(!!) years ago. We haven't seen her perform an uptempo song since then, let alone a set.

I don't know this woman anymore, so I feel we are even setting ourselves up with the "shes gonna deliver the most epic tour". She's become so lazy, I actually think she's going to serve more power poses than ever cause she'll be out of breath lol

Brace yourselves sistrens, but "our Beyonce" is not here anymore (unless she proves otherwise).

ST has good streams though. It will be 3 billion next year. She also held that album back apart from the singles. LEM would probably have been 3 billion if she didn’t hold it back. If she can do 1 billion 3 years later, then I don’t see why she wouldn’t have done 2 billion in the first 3 years. It had massive hype at the time.

It's total streams are good but the lack of a massive hit limits it's recurrent streams

What’s the restaurant called? Is it in nyc

its in LA. its called horses. she was also at giorgio baldi.

I have to catch myself typing rants in this base even though it is so boring to be in the BeyHive, BUT:

a.) Literally what other mid-late 90s girl/early 00s girl is worth stanning for, and

b.) our fave is part of an ever-expanding billion-dollar institution with her husband

Girl I'd give nothing, too. But pls, sis :jonny5: at least an at-home, pre-recorded, 2 minute video on the process of the albums or something would do. This is getting unbearable.

I think her performances will be better than ever tbh, even with dealing with the physical repercussions of childbirth, she still managed to put on an amazing show for Coachella and embark on a tour right after. Granted it would be sloppy on a few dates but she was overworked at that time, and even her 50% is better than the rest of these girl’s 100%:giraffe:

Her performance skills are still great and the tour will be great (whenever she decides to announce it:redface:)

I mean this is a potential reality. I've braced myself for it. But touring is so much more than pulling off choreo and stamina, It's music, connection, staging, new arrangements etc.... I want to see he let loose on stage more and I don't mean during a dance break lol

No more mega mixes and let more songs breathe, both so the audience feel it but also so she can too. You can see she absolutely loved every minute of this

Artistically  there's no sign of her loosing touch and that remains the biggest factor of a tour imo

I'd honestly prefer less dance breaks and more emphasis on vocals. And I could do without the Ring The Alarm dance break :dies:, it's just beating a dead horse and I've had enough. There's a reason why I preferred Glastonbury to Coachella (and her other tours compared to FWT) even though they were all top tier for diff reasons, it felt like it was going through choreographed motions compared to the more raw, intimate, and connected feeling. Her Sex on Fire performance was IT despite the lyrics on the floor:jonny5:

Hope she skips Germany

She won't cause we got money to pay for her expensive tours, plus its a central point in her world tour that usually spans NA and Europe

She could have kept up by being consistent on the platform. She was doing great from 2014-2019. Leaving Lemonade off was a mistake. Lack of diversity in her playlisting held her catalog back cause she sucks at choosing singles. Just like with this current album, no one knows what to play and this girl tried to make 2 so so songs as the 2nd single.

These things can't be denied. It doesn't matter how popular you are, you have to be strategic with how your catalog is placed and where it's played. Beyonce doesn't license her music nearly enough. And the power of radio gets you played in public spaces like like mall, club and restaurants. I see so much more visibility from other girls who don't have what Bey has EXCEPT for strategy.

I can’t wait until she can’t dance the same anymore so she’s forced to drop all the dance breaks, megamixes, etc. and has to focus more on her vocal-heavy songs.

I want Plastic Off The Sofa and Virgo’s Groove to each be 8+ minutes long on tour.

This energy>>

Inb4 she loses her vocals like Moo. :skull:

What she is NOT above however is performing her ****. Like get your ass out there and perform your songs ffs, that's literally what your legacy is bulit on. The fact that 3 (three) award shows performances per era has moved into the realm of fantasy for us is just :deadbanana2:

CLEANUP ON AISLE 12 — somebody spilled!

Imagine if Apple Music ever posted their streaming numbers.

What do we think her most streamed album/song be? Would it mimic her Spotify stats? Unexpected streaming smashes? Do we really have no idea at all how much a Top 10 song typically does, like shouldn't someone be able to figure it out based on info from billboard every week
