I just read the whole mess about Nusi Quero being a predator that came out after he complained about Bey’s team. F that disgusting person and his art, I’m glad he ended himself the moment he went against Beyoncé and his own bs came back to bite him.

A good compromise is the right option of course. Nevertheless, her dance routine during the FWT was truly exhausting to the point that it would affect her live singing a bit. 

 

She can continue dancing, however her singing skills will always prevail over her dancing. 

I have Heated on TOP 5 most listened songs of the year but I am 100% sure I played Pure/Honey and AHAP twice as much as Heated but ok...

Followed up with a five minute interview, but not an interview of Beyonce. An interview with her former GM of Parkwood Leeann talking about her job.

Its her own fault. It backfired, I said it would. Not putting Lemonade on Spotify was a huge mistake all for a streaming service they don’t even own any longer. Plus her playlisting is terrible

Hold up, the stans trying to make an argument for Beyonce's playlisting are deluded. I just chekced and it's AWFUL. Most of her playlisting has under 1 million followers and she is not the cover on any of them except one that currently had 100,000 followers. 

 

The main thing I am seeing is that there is a huge gap between her 2000s and 2010s playlisting. But even with her "better" playlisting for the 2000s, these playlists are not optimal. Literally bunched in with 100+ songs and her tracks don't stick out at first glance.

 

She has adequate playlisting for Rennaisance for what it is. But her other 6 albums? No. Awful. I'm looking through the other girls right now and see the difference in why their catalog would do better with "less".

No excuse. She has a brand new album out and should have cracked the top 10. The fact that people don't find this troubling makes me believe it's denial. 

 

Beyonce is an oxymoron she claims she wants to be a Sade/ Prince but then brag about radio play/ being #1 when she isn't really dominating like that.

It doesn't matter if they didn't release an album. Many of them did in 2021 and kept pushing performances and other gigs into 2022.

I get what you are saying to a certain extent however Rihanna hasn't released anything ( until recently)  in 7 years and is in the top 10. Again, I don't think the excuses hold much weight.

I think so. Cause the streaming age is about what the consumer identifies with and somehow Beyonce doing the absolute least gets her at #11. Everyone I'm seeing has better engagement and brand identity while Beyonce is literally the worst to the point where it is frankly scary.

 

Beyonce only has decent playlistng for this most recent album cause she's decided to not lift a single finger for the past 5 months. But it's not enough. I've seen artists push commercial jingles harder. Her 2010 albums are horribly playlisted. It doesnt make any sense for the 2000s and DC music to be outstreaming. But even then, her 2000s catalog isn't being optimized either.

Her 2010s playlisting reflections her single success.  Lemonade with no hit singles and no presence on streaming until 2019 is not going to be heavily playlisted unless theres a major label push or unless it goes viral. ST had no global smashes (DIL was quite local).  There's no mystery to her streaming stats. You don't need to be doing this FBI investigation lmao

Rih has had a longer drought since Anti, but since that album was so big on streaming and was released in 2016 when streaming was exploding, she’s been able to maintain that success. Taylor went 5 years without a new album on Spotify (2012-2017) but since she released Reputation in 2017 during those pivotal streaming years and has released constantly since, she’s been able to become huge on streaming. 
 

IMO it’s the combo of her lack of promo and how she really fumbled the bag between 2014-2019 and missed out on those pivotal years when she could’ve been building her streaming power with a new album. 

 

Yes. It's okay to take an extended break when you've fed your audience and maximized your potential. And you also know how to keep your music recurrent on radio and know how to stay visible. Beyonce has been doing less and less for the past decade. Those HD pap pics on Sunday were the first we've seen in literal years. It's to the point where she must think its a joke based on her interviews. Beyonce "only" has 7 albums after 20 years where they're going to be releasing their 9th and 11th in 15-17. Their releases were perfectly timed and maximized for the time while Beyonce's is not.

 

Nevertheles, many of the stans have said that Bey's catalog was on par with both of them up until 2020. The goodwill she thought she put in a for a break wasnt enough. Especially leaving off with EIL and the Gift. Horribly handled. Something happened. She stopped performing, enagaging with her audience through her website and IG. 

 

So idk. My hope is that these other acts and the tour can cement her catalog overall on the platform. She just didn't set herself up well for the transition into the new era. But still top 10 for women overall and #11 in the year where she literally should be ashamed.
