Question - obviously she would never do it, but would yall prefer if she reinstated Mathew as her manager, if it means he will kick her ass into gear and make her do promo the old fashioned way? Or do you prefer that Bey has more control over her career, even if the result of it is what the Renaissance era has become?

I think people overestimate his power. Fans who yearn for the nostalgic Beyoncé domination feeling think he could manage an artist like hers at this point in her career. Like be serious! That 70-year-old man tweets **** like this, I doubt he would know how to navigate current era in music:

Not to mention Beyoncé left him for a reason... mixing family and business never ends well. I'd prefer he stay out of it.

Damn that tweet is kinda mean, I hope he hasn't seen it. I think his tweet was cute.

yeah I think it's a bit mean, but he's a grandpa aging very much out of entertainment is what my point was. and he was toxic for Beyoncé. I don't follow Matthew or that person but their tweet was on my tl the other day.

like he's not going to push Beyoncé to do TikTok promo the way some of y'all wish she did. he's going to book her an interview on Jimmy Fallon at best. :dies:

Personally I still prefer her to be in control.

I mean he stole money from her and Livenation, it could seriously risk endorsements if she were to.

Literally every video on my tiktok is cuff it, every single one

Get off tik tok honestly. It’s a cancer and a security risk. Military personnel in my country aren’t even allowed to have the app on their phone.

Summer Renaissance absolutely HAS to be the last song she performs on tour. The "applause, a round of applause!" is perfect and then "I'm in my bag bag bag bag bag bag" as she exits the stage. :WAP:

I actually see it as an opener :rip:

It has 100k more videos than BMS and it’s only been a short amount of time. ? Another effortless global hit incoming.

Which directors are y'all expecting for the videos? I know Akerlund is basically confirmed already and I'm hoping Melina Matsouskas and Jake Nava are on it as well.

Your list is basically her director besties with loads of prolific work w/ her. I hope all of them are involved because they bring the best out of her. In terms of other people:

- Pierre Debusschere (Mine, Ghost, ALREADY, SCAR)

- Mark Romanek (Madonna Videos, Sandcastles, The "Summer Renaissance" Tiffany commercials).

- Emmanuel Adjei (Tiffany "About Love" campaign, OTHERSIDE, Don't Jealous Me)

- Jenn Nkiru (Brown Skin Girl)

- A Surprise Black Director that was filming in the 1980s or 90s. (I wonder if film director Mario Van Peebles, Debbie Allen, or Spike Lee would be interested in filming one video? Of course I'm already thinking "America Has A Problem" :dies:)

IF there happens to be any truth to the thriller movie references, I wonder if she would work with Jordan Peele on the visuals.

Akerlund is not confirmed. Going by his wife’s comments, she was working solo.

It seems Marni just outsourced B. Akerlund for some scenes. She did that for the Tiffany teasers too. They had a new stylist for the shoot.

The way she SKATED on Virgos Groove and people play with her top about her vocals :lmao:

Just do it on SNL one time please and shut them the **** up!

Yo I’m in an Uber in NYC and they’re playing the remixed version of Church Girl on Hot 97 and it’s slaying me so hard rn :WAP:

I all of the sudden see the vision she has for that song in the states. And I was always a Church Hoe hater :priceless:

The f-words on this site get brave every now and then to yell how overrated Bey is at the top of their lungs while stanning the most mid white acts will never not be funny :priceless:

No it’s not even just this site, it’s everywhere. The Hive doesn’t perceive her as some untouchable Queen, yet it’s always her haters who will bring out the thinkpieces and say she’s overrated while holding her to some unrealistic god standard. We literally just stan her because she’s arguably the greatest performer alive and consistently makes bops. :rip: Beyoncé will always be that girl they perceive to “have it all” and they find that so threatening. The talent, the industry respect and awards, the public acclaim, the politics, the beauty, the rich husband and family. I came across another capitalist TikTok about her and she always gets the short end of the stick. Rihanna on paper, is richer and is more capitalistic in nature and never gets that double standard. Most of the MPGs aren’t as acclaimed, talented, doesn’t put the effort to make albums/live shows the way Bey does nor are they as great of performer. She is professional, finishes every show, doesn’t redo performances on live TV, rarely cancels tour dates. Minds her business… yet, Bey is “overrated”. It gets even weirder when the criticisms mainly come from white people. :rip: It’s an obsession.
