Only Bey could release a “remix” of a song that doesn’t officially exist (Standing On The Sun).

Honey, Cuff It, Church Girl, Summer Renaissance, POTS and Virgo's Groove are definitely the most Beyoncé'd songs on the album, so they could definitely be there. 

 

However, every single song deserves to be performed live on stage.

The album works extremely well altogether like a DJ set, hence why it wouldn't surprise me if she might end up performing the whole thing. 

 

I'm even looking forward to hearing AUIYM and Thique and can't wait to bop along. So hopefully there won't be any skips this time.

I think it's time we have a proper discourse about how Beyonce' the artist TECHNICALLY debuted as an album act in 2003 but her career started 7 years prior so her 25 year long musical career is STILL ACTIVE. 

 

Whitney Houston- 1985-2010 is 25 years. That year her album I Look To You debuted #1 but her singles didn't really smash. World tour was a commerical and critical DISASTER. 

 

Mariah - 1990-2015 is 25 years. That year she had To Infiniti, another mediocre greatest hits album. No charting singles. 

 

Janet- 1982-2007/8. Janet had Discipline and Feedback which crossed over and made decent impact but did not have the success or acclaim as her previous projects. Tour cancelled, album underperformed. 

 

Madonna- 1982-2007/2008. Hard Candy smashed and she had a massive global tour and an amazing reputation at the time. 4 Minutes and Give It 2 Me smashed. 

 

Beyonce'-1997-2022. Renaissance era smashes across the globe. Scores first solo #1 single in a decade, and multiple global hit singles without promotion. Highest acclaimed album of her career. Reputation at it's ABSOLUTE highest and most respected.  

 

This is insane if you guys really break it down. Renaissance could push Bey into another 10 years of charting relevancy just based off how everyone is tripping over Alien an Cuff It. She's really the greatest female artist of all time. Like in real time.

Gaga doesn’t care about her music and only cares for movies and Meth Labs, Britney obviously has other priorities, Rihanna doesn’t even try anymore, P!nk is somewhere making wine, Adele pops up for 5 minutes every 5 years and disappears. All Bey has to do is release quality music and that’s enough because it’s more than any of the other girls give us.

Off-topic, but it’s crazy that Gaga phoned it in w/ Chromatica after Shallow/ASIB smashed the way they did. The album that followed it up could’ve been way bigger than it ended up being if she’d played her cards right.

I can only speak for myself but I never thought of that soundtrack as a “Lady Gaga album”, and I do t think the average listener did either. I don’t think the listeners of that album necessarily went out and bought or even listened to any other of her albums. But you’re right that she could’ve handled the C era better. 
 

In any case we can’t really blame the long lasting mpg’s for not going all in anymore, at some point you have to have a life and prioritize yourself. It’s honestly crazy that Beyoncé is still putting in this kind of work in crafting her albums.

I saw a model from the upcoming event tweet something about it being a 2 hour show but only 40 or so minutes is all they are prepared for. The remainder of the time is unknown. I’d take this with a grain of salt tho.

With the visuals not being out this weekend I really believe she’s campaigning for the 2024 Grammys and not the 2023 ones. She might compile the three acts digitally and submit that for AOTY. Like imagine an era with 40+ songs, a proper WW stadium tour and several hits being pushed for the Grammys without Adele, Kendrick and Bruno being there. 

I'm so glad Cuff It is doing something WW, it'll give the album legs until the visuals.

 

 

What the **** is happening behind the scenes tho... Where are the visuals? Was she not happy with the final product? This wait is horrible to be honest.
