As someone who has been a adamant Cuff It single #2 stan since Day 1 (), your logic makes no sense

Of course people are going to say the song with the most interest behind it should be the next single... For a good 2 weeks that was AS, but now Cuff It has leaped ahead of both AS AND BMS

It's not "going wherever the wind blows" to say the song currently outstreaming EVERY TRACK on the album including the lead single should be the next single
