CUFF IT is the type of single that can smash on multiple radio formats, is viral on TikTok, and is gaining on streaming; it has a very classic yet current sound. It's the type of smash hit you want to carry your album during Grammy voting season, especially if performed at the AMAs and SNL in Nov/Dec. But go off with this flop choice of a second single that could've easily been left out of the album; no one would've noticed.

Can someone confirm in how many charts around the globe, Renaissance is still Top 20. I was thinking AS or CI along with the much expected BMS' video could give a boost ww. But with CG now, the "era" might just be over before that kick-off I was so optimistic of even starts.  

Church Girl is the only song I skip every single time I listen to the album and she’s made that the single

Church Girl is one of my favorites so I'm fine with it being a single

Skipping CG is not the flex you guys think it is. That masterpiece deserves better, not 2nd material though. 

 

Anyway we played ourselves, the AS stans kept saying that CI was just as viral as AS was and yet nothing was done. AS maintained more than 1M streams for almost a month and nothing was done, I don't see why CI in one week would be any different.

CG is great and I love it. But it is categorically dumb to be releasing it to radio over CI right now. Also, better than AS?  As if we didn't think your taste was questionable already.

Sure Get Together, Jump and Will It Be and countless other songs on the album are better than HU but Madge chose that as a single for a reason.

I’m sorry but there’s no defending this. It was very clear from album release week that cuff it had the MOST cross over appeal. And the fact that it’s gaining traction proved our point so for Beyoncé to foolishly send another song to radio is just ridiculous. I hope it flops.

it says US RHYTHMIC RADIO meaning urban single. if y’all don’t relax and give it a few days cuff it will probably be the pop global single and she’ll have two hit songs at once

I like Church, I just didn’t see it being a smash hit in this climate. Cuff gave me that hit single vibe – but this is Beyoncé.
