There will probably be a Pop single and her stubborn team is going to make it Summer Renaissance. This has been their plan since day1. The crazy thing is why aren’t they pivoting and adapting with what fans are listening to. The best part about the streaming era is fans will pick the second and third single for you. All you have to do is pay attention.  

Church Girl is going to flop on radio anyway, this song is only fun when you’re dancing, not driving or doing anything else. That’s why a lot of people have it at the bottom of their renaissance ranking.
If you’re going to send a random song to Rhythmic, at least send Heated, a song with the king of rhythmic radio  

I may be the only one but I am not mad she is pushing Church Girl to selected formats … I’m more concerned about SR possibly being pushed tbh.

Not even that, CUFF IT has made several headlines this week with its global performance on Spotify, itunes and Apple Music. 
Finally, when the album dropped they put Church Girl on every New Music Friday and it flopped. It’s insane that they are trying again.
This is just her most idiotic decision, even worse than sending Pretty Hurts to Urban. Everything she does only has one purpose: to antagonize her stans.

Pop radio didn't even take BREAK MY SOUL to Top 5, and they started to drop it like a rock immediately after when they hold onto songs like "As It Was" and "Heat Waves" for ages.  (and before anyone says it, there really isn't a practice of songs being "pulled" from radio except for severe cases like when Kesha's "Die Young" was pulled after Sandy Hook school shooting. Beyoncé isn't pulling BMS, it's freefalling because pop radio doesn't support her & they generally don't support women over a certain age/women who've been in the industry for a long time. the "pulled from radio" narrative is something stans make up whenever their fave isn't smashing.)

 

I do agree they want another single. wasn't CUFF IT getting some early airplay when the album dropped? there's definitely some interest, but to say pop radio is fully on board with Beyoncé would be delusional. RENAISSANCE/BMS is more "pop" than anything she's released in the last 10 years so of course they're a bit more interested.
