Hii, I don’t know if I’ve posted in here before, but diehard Hive since 2013. Self-Titled was the first album I ever bought on iTunes :gaycat4:

I must confess, I haven’t given many of her previous albums a proper listen. What would y’all recommend?

Maybe start with 4 because it's more accessible than B'Day,  then B'Day (just the standard)  then DIL and IASF.

Or you could also do in order but maybe switch IASF's with DIL.

Well we don’t know how the visuals are planned. If it’s a film (ala Lemonade/BIK) then releasing them individually could ruin the concept of the whole film.

From our perspective it is frustrating, but that’s because we don’t know what the visuals are like. Just stop focusing on numbers and enjoy the art. We’ve already achieved a #1 single AND album which is more than we’ve had in over a decade. Let’s celebrate that and forget daily streaming numbers when the album is amazing.

The fact that they are delaying everything to do one visual film is kind of ridiculous when the era would have been more exciting with one visual drop at a time. If they just wanted people to “have fun” it didn’t need to be this serious with the visual.  Like @chriz said the general public doesn’t even care anymore, the video will take 6 month to her 10 million views and the album will get a small bump and fall off. Singles wasted.

Imagine LEMONADE being led with the visual from Hold Up with no context…Beyonce walking down the street destroying cars to an upbeat song.

Compared to us getting Formation as  the lead which was the last song on the album and had no ties to the visual narrative.

They know better than us what they’re doing. Clearly.

You guys are projecting your own impatience with all this "she waited too long, no one is going to care" rhetoric. When she reveals the release date the hype is going to immediately return.

Everyone screaming "They wasted the hype" then turning around saying one video at a time would've been more exciting... by the time she released video seven or eight people would be tapped out and the videos would make no noise.

Eh? It’s been 13 days. Less than two weeks.

Agreed. We can't say how long the hype will remain, but this is her artistry.

Considering Self-Titled was released entirely by surprise and LEMONADE premiered on HBO, I'm confident she knows exactly what she's doing.

What I'm worried about, though, is the visuals being considered "Act 2." Are we certain each act is an album? Lol.

The I'm That Girl trailer ends with Act I Renaissance so I still believe each album is an act.

We're only a few days away from the month anniversary of the album.  I wouldn't be shocked if we get something more then.

Do u think theres still hype? Shes pulling 8 Mio streams a day with a month old album that consists of 16 songs, one of which is doing 1.5 Mio out of these 16 Songs.

You're basically speaking Latin to me, I don't know anything about streaming numbers.

I'm making a counterpoint to the argument no one is going to care when she drops the visuals. We all know that's not true. She's going to immediately capture public attention again.

:clap3: It's definitely been heavily-implied that each act is an album, so I'm going to keep hoping.

I'm anticipating we'll know more by the month anniversary as well. Perhaps even sooner.

Yeah I also think we're entering ridiculous territory IF one month passes form the album release and there's still no visuals at all.

And the 'it'll all make sense looking in hindsight' excuse doesn't work anymore sorry. There's literally nothin I can think of that she could possibly do  that would justify the wait at this point, it makes no sense. It'll mean that they were not ready indeed.

Yeah before and right after album release I understood the 'she will deliver all at once because it's a movie and singular videos will spoil it'. And even if it wasn't a movie, I also understood the 'oh she wants us to enjoy the music first and will release the videos after' okay. But more than a MONTH later it's absurd, ESPECIALLY since she is doing nothing at all to keep the audiences interested in the album and has been MIA since release.

At least when the videos do come, yall will understand what the rollout looks like so you can manage your expectations for the rollouts of act 2 and 3. So far we know not to expect a video 2 months after the start of the era so nobody can complain when the same thing happens with the next two albums. :coffee2:

I definitely think the wait for the visuals is getting extremely wack. The only saving grace I have for mother is that she also is finalizing 2 other albums as well. We shouldn’t assume that everything is done but for the visuals. She has a lot on her plate. All in all, we still are gonna get more than we could hope in terms of the scope of the project.

Of course. She brought her MacBook, her mic, and cam. She’s getting B-roll footage on the yacht.

You can paint any picture you want when you only factor in one out of several streaming services. :rip:

I don’t think there’s major hype cause she’s silent. But I’m sure it will return when she tease another visual.

I realized ChartHive on here was pretty useless when they didn’t even know how radio worked nor any of the mechanisms involved to get a #1 single & album in 2022, right before Renaissance dropped :rip:

Experts with no expertise, which is why Bey/Parkwood listen to professionals with actual music industry knowledge lol

Parkwood, the company that is pretty much destroying Chloes career with their lack of guidance lol

They are good when it comes to iniating interest, ill give them that. The launches are great! But after that? Horrible. No clue on how to guide and sustain interest.

Honestly, I just don’t think you or mostly any one else on here has the institutional knowledge, expertise, experience, or mental fortitude to determine that Parkwood, with all its major success, doesn’t have a clue on how to sustain a project, artist, or interest. That sounds ridiculous.

A lot of the chart analysis done in here is limited to a streaming number coming from Twitter. The knowledge displayed on here is a mile wide and an inch deep. :deadbanana: Just amazingly shallow, with no real useful insights, which is why Bey/Parkwood continue to pay the misplaced concern absolute dust.
