Honestly, I just don’t think you or mostly any one else on here has the institutional knowledge, expertise, experience, or mental fortitude to determine that Parkwood, with all its major success, doesn’t have a clue on how to sustain a project, artist, or interest. That sounds ridiculous.

A lot of the chart analysis done in here is limited to a streaming number coming from Twitter. The knowledge displayed on here is a mile wide and an inch deep. :deadbanana: Just amazingly shallow, with no real useful insights, which is why Bey/Parkwood continue to pay the misplaced concern absolute dust.

Numbers are one thing and Im sure they have access to a wide range of data we don't have. That goes without saying.

What they lack is the ability to read the room. They've shown this on multiple occasion (e.g. their unprofessional behavior at the Emmys that exuded entitlement-> they posted a pic of them giving the finger after losing ; the unprofessional behavior during an album rollout ; unlisting the MV for Formation for 3 entire months ; not releasing any official singles post album release ; pushing the wrong songs and then not adapting to what the GP clearly favors ; etc)

The list goes on and on. As much as my behavior and me complaining is annoying to some of y'all, y'all gaslighting Team Beyonce and their decisions is just as annoying.

Chloe presents herself as a lowclass rapper who engages in sexual acts to get to where she is. Before anyone comes at me: That's the way she choses to present herself, I don't say she is that way. It's just so inauthentic and tragic and most of all beneath her. So, so sad tbh.

Where's the class, where is the nuance, the subtlety? Where is the quality in music? Yet here she releases songs where she refers to her lovers as n I g g as and pops her pu ss y and sings how's she's riding that d. Like what?

I see what y’all mean now. Back then I was like what’s the problem, let that girl express herself. :spin:

But the way her image and debut era is being handled is like a joke or parody – and I hate that for her cause she’s talented. Even if she wanted to play the pretty b*tch from the hood like Saweetie or Rubi Rose. It didn’t correlate properly. :deadbanana2:

Oh, your meltdowns don’t annoy me, nor do they annoy or affect Parkwood/Beyoncé lol. It’s just weird and a little redundant. Especially when most of self-proclaimed ChartHive literally had no clue about what to do to get a #1 right before Renaissance dropped. Just a lot of talk with no real insights or expertise. Reductive and kinda useless, but not annoying.

I realized ChartHive on here was pretty useless when they didn’t even know how radio worked nor any of the mechanisms involved to get a #1 single & album in 2022, right before Renaissance dropped :rip:

Experts with no expertise, which is why Bey/Parkwood listen to professionals with actual music industry knowledge lol

I dont think it is fair to blame all ChartHive. It was just some users who had no idea how the rolling effect works.
Also if an artist is fighting for #1, they usually help out their stans. Parkwood just sat there and did nothing until the last minute with the cliquebait video, which didn’t help at all. I dont think they know what they are doing either.

But I can tell you that Columbia got Beyoncé a new agent to help with radio (according to HDD) which is why Break My Soul smashed

Parkwood dropped Bey’s lead on a Tuesday and they couldn’t even release the single artwork on time. Please, they are a joke. Bey is lucky her fanbase is extremely loyal

It was self-proclaimed ChartHive running through all these threads on ATRL trying to figure out what certain basic numbers & metrics meant. ? Yeah, y’all don’t really know anything. Parkwood may not be exceptional but if I had to bet money on those professionals or y’all, then…the choice is quite clear. I’m glad you read an HDD article, though lol.

SOUTH AFRICA:

11 (07) 3 ALIEN SUPERSTAR (PK #2)
19 (10) 9 BREAK MY SOUL (PK #4)
45 (32) 3 CUFF IT (PK #5)
62 (44) 3 ENERGY (PK #8)
81 (74) 3 I'M THAT GIRL (PK #7)
83 (57) 3 CHURCH GIRL (PK #10)
100 (72) 3 COZY (PK #11)

:toofunny2:

They're stanning. 3 weeks in and they have more songs than in the US and AS already peaked in the top 10.

The album might be #2 on the albums chart next week. I think they know what they're doing lol :toofunny3:

Again you’re making generalizations based on some random people (who probably never called themselves chart hive) asking questions. Beyoncé hasn’t had a radio hit since Drunk In Love. Of course there will be fans who dont know how radio works :rip:

Also I was just relying to you what HDD reported, the fact that you think that can be used a drag is beyond me.

Finally, i dont even understand why you’re mad. Break My Soul and Renaissance went #1, mission accomplished!

Taking the moniker ChartHive so seriously is hilarious. It’s literally just an atrl.net/beyonce thing. Thinking that the 20 Beyoncé stans on this base can have any impact on the charts is mental. Stop taking what people write here so seriously :rip:

She’ll debut the BMS visual at the vmas like Kanye did with Fade :psych:

they definitely did call themselves ChartHive and still do to this day. But knew nothing about the charts when it really mattered, and probably still don’t. :rip:  Just…useless lmao

You reading the HDD article and reporting it back in here is just a microcosm of how the dynamics work between Beyoncé/Parkwood and the stans. You really don’t know anything until it’s been reported by her team or someone with vastly more knowledge & expertise, so just stop pretending that you do lol. No biggie.

But yeah, anyway, there’s nothing to be mad about. I think (hope) everyone got what they wanted from the era, besides the visuals, which hopefully are coming soon. She got the commercial and critical success, so I’m actually super happy and still loving the album. Just waiting on the visuals at this point.

omg i forgot about this :skull: So messy i can't

i think the goal is stability for the whole album not another hit single. the album will probably go number one again a couple times as the visuals come out :sistrens:

break my soul gonna end up a classic song anyways :sistrens:

Why is this relevant?

Spoiler

And who is that ChartHive who doesn't know anything? I think I am ChartHive down and I sure do know how radio works and how to get a #1 both on Hot 100 and BB200. So does @Armani? who pushed enough for Savage to go #1 and who was mocked here -  because it should be the label's job, experts without expertise and it's pathetic,  one should know their place etc - for asking people to buy additional copies of BMS and organize streaming parties, which is what actually got BMS its #1 (the additional pathetic effort put in by those experts without expertise). So does @MrLovett who knows exactly how both UK and US charts work and pushed as hard as he could,  bought as many copies as he could, as long as the rest of UK Hive hoping for a UK #1. And a lot other members.

People who are classified "ChartHive" here are those who care for commercial success not necessarily those who know how charts work.

It's ok if people are discovering or learning how radio works, B hasn't had a multi radio hit in more than a decade. It's always good to learn and they can be more impactful next time.

One also doesn't need to be a singer to know a singer can't sing, one doesn't need to a musician to be a musical critic and you don't need to be an exec or know about that to judge their jobs.

B's career aside, I paid 150€ for two CDs that cost around 10€ each, I know Parkwood is lacking.

Imagine LEMONADE being led with the visual from Hold Up with no context…Beyonce walking down the street destroying cars to an upbeat song.

Compared to us getting Formation as  the lead which was the last song on the album and had no ties to the visual narrative.

They know better than us what they’re doing. Clearly.

Formation as the first visual was excellent. Imagine if it was actually released after the Super Bowl and not hidden the damage the era would have caused. And then to follow it up with hold up would have been epic.

Didn’t read a good chunk of this but you’re from France. It’s ok if you don’t know how it works but I don’t know the excuse for US charthive.

I do know how it works and there's nothing special about knowing that.

“She thought she was killing that ****, I told her go harder”

Are we in agreement this is about Chloe ?

Oh my Spotify hasn't updated yet. I still have it at 39M.

Anyway fantastic, thanks sis!! :celestial:

Parkwood isn't the problem when it comes to Chloe x Halle, either. I think Halle is about to take off with her music and the little mermaid. Chloe is Chloe's problem.
