TMZ: Britney Spears arrested in California for driving under influence
She's just a 45 year old girl that wants to have fun.

Doja Cat - 'Vie'
Mess. These numbers are absolutely terrible. And she's doing even worse on AM than Spotify. Feel kinda sad for Doja. The album is decent and didn't deserve to flop.

Beyoncé
The only award she's nominated for at the main show next week is Outstanding Variety Special (Live), and it's obvious she's not winning that since she lost to the other specials last night that are also nominated for Outstanding Variety Special. Glad she won her Costumes Emmy already.

Billboard: Top Producers of the 21st Century on the Hot 100 (Beyoncé #6)
Oh, Beyoncé the legend that you are. She's going down as THE all-time great. She'll be on these lists until the end of time.

Songs by female groups that reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100
Destiny's Child being the only girl group to hit #1 in TWO different decades

Billboard: Top Producers of the 21st Century on the Hot 100 (Beyoncé #6)
Beyoncé should be top 5. Brilliant vocalist, dancer, performer, AND producer. A legend.

Beyoncé ★ Cowboy Carter Tour ★ Las Vegas: FINAL SHOW
That's not what Billboard just said. Biggest country tour EVER. https://www.billboard.com/pro/beyonce-cowboy-carter-biggest-country-tour-history/

Mariah Carey - "Type Dangerous"
As a Mariah fan, the song isn't great and is a bit middling. I also hate she sacrificed having a truly great video just so she could include Mr. Beast (whose pay rate for his appearance was probably astronomical) in it to boost views/streams, but that won't happen. I mean, has he even posted about it on his socials? All the moves her team is making seem so cynical and lame, to be honest. The radio payola that won't sustain the single; the nonsense video. And all for what? A #95 peak in Billboard at best?

Beyoncé
It's so predictable and lame. Next, they'll call you kiss-ass Hive/Parkwood employees and try to shame you into being as pessimistic and weird as they are. Then they'll cry and complain about downvotes in the base but believe they should have free rein to spout nonsense about Bey/her career trajectory without any pushback or opposing opinion. Like, if yall can openly and constantly nitpick her in the base, then yall can catch these downvotes too without getting your feelings hurt *******. Anyway, can't wait to see what's in store next week.

Beyoncé
They literally questioned her touring power before RWT was announced here in this very thread. It was all doom and gloom and concern that she wouldn't sell or the demand would be soft. It ended up being the biggest female tour ever (not counting the Eras tour). The concerns and complaints are all so boring and cyclical tbh. it's another reason why I just downvote and keep it moving.

Jay Z's cannabis venture fails
He hasn't been involved with the company for years. He left awhile ago. New article from TMZ: https://www.tmz.com/2024/12/03/jay-z-weed-company-monogram-cut-ties-with-the-parent-company/?adid=social-tw

Pitchfork just didn't like Cowboy Carter all that much. No BNTs and their one track review of Texas Hold 'Em reads like a pan. They barely wanted to give Cowboy Carter the 8.4 it got. I think the country genre is an obstacle with some critics.

Beyoncé
He's also flat out wrong. She didn't submit to any of those categories and not every AOTY has won or been nominated in Engineering or POTY. She also does have a nomination in a songwriting category (literally Song of the Year and Best Country Song).

Beyoncé
In any Beyoncé interview over the last 10 years, she's essentially said the same thing in regards to promotion: She doesn't feel the need to do much of it anymore and nobody is changing her mind. I don't know what's taken some people so long to get that…

Beyoncé
If the last 10 years havent been proof enough that Beyoncé is not going to jump at the whims of chart-obsessed stans, then maybe this new article/interview will be enough. Even if it isn't enough, I'm glad she knows the impact of her music and can easily ignore the chart-obsessed stans who will trash the music if they don't perceive it to be successful enough.

Beyoncé - 'COWBOY CARTER'
Not you hiding posts again like your fave hides panned music from yall. OT: CC being #1 for a 2nd week and the most acclaimed album of the year is a gag.
-
Beyoncé - 'COWBOY CARTER'
Keep clinging to this album that will still never have half of the acclaim or impact of Bey's last 4 albums. The fact that she left yall with this horse manure for the next decade is tragic. cheap patties and shoes is your real fave.
-
Beyoncé - 'COWBOY CARTER'
Counter argue with YOU about what? you literally stan cheap panties, and before that the music output was terrible and panned too. I don't have to defend Cowboy Carter's immense acclaim and success to somebody that stans that.
-
Beyoncé - 'COWBOY CARTER'
Are you ready to admit this album is more impactful, more important, more acclaimed, more legendary, and has more discussion than any Rihanna album and that she's never giving you anything else anyway? Are you ready to admit that you're a cornball for hiding your own Rihanna topics when they start dragging her in the thread? Worry about the girl that is giving you dated panties and flip flops. Don't worry about the most important, respected and creative artist of the last 30 years.

COWBOY CARTER Review Thread | Metacritic - 91

COWBOY CARTER Review Thread | Metacritic - 91
This was probably a mistake by Metacritic. They've made them before and the Beyhive would email them to correct it and they did (for Lemonade). I would advise emailing MC. They will correct it if enough people contact them.

COWBOY CARTER Review Thread | Metacritic - 91
https://consequence.net/2024/04/beyonce-cowb This reads like a 100 and counts for Metacritic. Somebody check on the weird, pressed poster in here to make sure they haven't had a stroke.
