Yep, I looked through those threads and the racism wasn't even subtle. She got a lot of venom from Britney fans in the mid-00's because Britney started off the decade as the IT girl but as time went on it became clearer and clearer that Beyoncé was going to be doing some serious damage and was formidable.

 

By the time IA...SF rolled around in '08 she'd basically won the decade.

Yeah,  it wasn't much better in 08 anyway or even in the 10's. Tbh even in real life, it was exhausting how much people hated her and B's haters just NEED to tell everyone they hate her, the worst part was DC then B'Day online. I don't know how she survived all that. Somehow in the middle of all that hatred, my love for her just grew deeper.

I only read the first and last two pages and everything went : her being fat,  her thighs, her grammar, she's ghetto, they have better weaves than her, her mother is a Hoochie, she can't speak, she's a ****, how can she think about things like Bootylicious,  how mean she is to the others etc.

Just damn sad. No black female artist has suffered such vitriol since Diana Ross. And the peak of it happened when Bey was just a teenager.

While this is all true, Beyoncé has always gotten tons of media support and acclaim from award shows that somewhat offset the hate. Also, the hate she always received was largely online, I was around on all these message boards for it. 
 

Also Whitney was hated far worse than Bey ever was in terms of black females.

I really love the idea of the visuals being a stage play meant to signify her inner thoughts while being stuck in quarantine

Funny considering THIS was released literally the week before and im guessing the girls were in their feelings.

IF the tour was the visuals and was setup as a stadium stage play with a 360 stage, I would forgive all.

One of my earliest memories as a child was having this HitClips version of Survivor.

 

 

and I used to play it on this lil radio thing thinking it was the coolest thing in the world

Yup I really think the visuals are going to shock the doubters in here going on about things not being ready. Everything has been carefully planned and the visuals and era itself is highly conceptual. She wouldn’t launch a three-act era haphazardly. All will be revealed soon
