I do think she's had some work done (brow lift, buccal fat removal) but the differences are really exacerbated by the weight gain and how she wears her makeup now. 

I really hope this isn't the reason why we're not seeing her, how is she even managing it? She took a flight to the UK, went around and there's still zero pictures. I really hope her body issues haven't worsened in the past few years, she seems fine/happy and she also said 2021 was the best year of her life yet which makes me hopeful. One of the worst things about this break is her absolute lack of communication 

 

Anyways y'all should get on the Dua and Abel car in the meantime

I think she’s been strenuously pushing herself for Wicked. I imagine she’s been hard at work with her acting coach for most of 2022 so far to sharpen up for her role, could be why she isn’t prioritising much else. 
 

Abel needs to announce the European leg so I can get tickets for his London date

She only teased 4 chapters since the beginning, but I think it's more than clear that she's just not going to quit a whole make up line after some chapters, it's a career-long decision most likely. Rih didn't just quit Fenty Beauty after some months.

The onslaught of personal attacks and critiques of her face (which is top tier, mind you) definitely got to her. Her Twitter being deleted and IG comments being disabled kinda proved that which is a shame because she's too pretty to be hurt by uglees online.

Agree, she's always been a sensitive person regarding her looks, and the fact that she toned down the tan and everything shows that she's very aware of what people are saying on social media, despite being absent. I hope that we're just overreacting and that she's actually happy with her appearance.

Same, as I said I don't care about having a whole new album I just wish she was more active. If she was hosting events or making videos and photoshoots for REM Beauty like the other beauty girls are doing I wouldn't complain.

You're absolutely right but that was such a horrible time. Scooter wasn't managing her anymore, we had heard the entire Dangerous Woman album via Snapchat and Apple Music prior to it's release, Focus had just flopped, Christmas and Chill was for sure an event for us but it flopped hard too, the DJ Khaled Snapchat stories, her always playing Pokemon Go without promoting her music, seeing Brian and Scott's annoying a** every single day on there, Daniel doing that ugly smokey eye on her and her thinking it looked good, and more.

In the Heights, West Side Story, and Dear Evan Hansen were all released in 2021. They all flopped at the box office but the first two were critically acclaimed. Camila Cabello's Cinderella was a musical as well.

 

I do hope we get an album + tour in 2023 because I can imagine her wanting to start a family soon. 2024/2025 would basically be the perfect time.

The basic ass pop and R&B stans are just going to have to deal. This is the THEATRE era. SHOWTUNES and SOUNDTRACKS henny. We are going to make Broadway and film history. We are starting the EGOT. She will be back in NYC by the end of the 2020’s.
