Douglas Italy is teasing a REM Beauty release through Ariana Grande Italia, I guess they're launching in Europe officially (in stores). I wonder if we'll get some event, considering she's in UK and they're launching there in days.

I honestly feel like she couldn't care less about REM Beauty and was basically just contractually forced to do it. That's why it seems like she's only sticking to social media promo and YT vids (and even then she seems pretty disinterested lol). I don't think she cares enough to attend these events (if there's any lol) + Wicked rehearsals are far too important for her

Why would she be forced to do it? I don't think she's uninterested, simply because she seems pretty good at doing her own make up and has been since Sweetener tour, if anything she's a bit out of touch with the trends, and she's not putting much effort which is absolutely needed in this field. The beauty community is harsh with celebrities, especially when they feel like the celebrity in question doesn't know how to sell the products like her.

I feel like there’s all sorts of contractual obligations for these massive Pop stars to keep making their labels / teams money. She’s taking a break and probably has known that she’s gonna slow down the pace 2 yrs ago, so I assume it was “suggested” that she finds a way to make other forms of passive income (+The Voice etc) 

Best pop duo at the Grammys is the weakest it’s ever been  If she was to drop a collab single this month it would be an easy win

I see what you mean, it's possible that it was suggested but I don't think she was forced. If she needs income she has other easier ways out, Instagram for example, a sponsored post is 1M dollars for her and she does none, she also does no endorsements which are a huge source of money for other pop girls, plus her perfumes have grossed almost a billion, too. I think REM Beauty could've been executed much better in terms of concepts and promo, the only thing I can't complain about are the visuals which were pretty great and expensive.

It's so sad to see how the Sam & Cat dynamics and Ariana's success affected Jannette, she truly went through some **** and people are really using it as a way to drag Ariana, as if she wasn't just pursuing her dream with the means that she was given. They're literally taking away from Jannette's story and trauma for dumb stan wars and random hate towards her.

People are so dumb I swear. The average stan twitter user has 10 IQ and has absolutely not idea what Jannette went through so they're just using anything to "drag" Ariana.

This also just reminded me that 2022 is also shaping up to break Ariana’s top 10 streak from 2013-2021 unless Santa Tell Me somehow goes top 10

 

 

 

This why I was hoping she drop a standalone single.

She's not going to release anything this year. 

 

Santa Tell Me will get a boost in November/December and that's going to be her saving grace these months on streaming though. 

 

I honestly don't expect droplets / an album till summer 2023 at the earliest.
