my guess is that "multiple things can be true at once" is her silent acknowledgment that her / her family / her team / etc. have broached the ED subject. as a longtime fan, i don't think i'm alone in noticing phases over the years of a strange relationship with food, etc., including her popularity in ED spheres a decade(+) ago (ex: tumblr). to deny that there isn't a health/ED problem here means you have to take the stan goggles off. it's very clear that something is wrong - not only her health, but the barrage of hate just for being too skinny / glinda voice / cynthia friendship / the affair allegations / etc. have been a severely disproportionate. but it's very obvious that a lot of ""concern"" - including on here - is NOT in good faith, and she's been the butt of some vile jokes. but there is 100% a problem, and this is the best thing for her right now. best case scenario: the problem is being acknowledged, time away from the public will be spent recovering from constant harassment (both about and not about this) and pursuing treatment for recovery, and this was pre-planned and she isn't doing this as a reaction to lukewarm album reception and bodyshaming. i'm inclined to believe this was pre-planned, as the delay of Sunday In The Park With George a little while back was definitely a result of her dropping out.
