I'm a little late to this thread but it's genuinely INSANE to imply that someone shouldn't have to make an effort to get to know their LIFE PARTNER's extended family, close long-term friends, etc. Taylor and her team known for being intensely calculated -- much to their credit in many, many ways -- so how could it be possible that a guest who works DIRECTLY with 2020's America's equivalent of the Nazis didn't set off alarm bells and get the invite list chop? It's not like it's a random Republican uncle like so many of the Swiftie defenders in here are citing as required wedding invitees...
