13th year of her career btw, not easy to get! Not everybody has that!

Not sure about the counter. But these numbers are on par with Positions, performing nearly identically to that album's first week of streams. Significantly less than what eternal sunshine was doing. But a huge chunk of eternal sunshine's streams were coming from we can't be friends, which really started taking off and having a huge influx of streams during the album release week. hate that i made you love me and petal (s) aren't bringing in the same level of streams that we can't be friends was during the same time of release week, despite still doing well and currently sitting at #1 and #3 on global Spotify.

Freak is truly a career highlight. And the experience of Freak and Warning Signs back to back is such a gag. I think it should've been put on the tracklist as one song, like Freak/Warning Signs like a Lorde Hard Feelings/Loveless tea.

Yeah everybody trying to frame this as a flop or underperformance is insane. It's right on par for her, and bigger than her last two albums. I do hope she and her team push for 300k, though.

291k would be great for her and would top Eternal Sunshine by a good margin, but it's too close to 300k to not pull some tricks to try and hit that mark. Hope her team has some stuff up their sleeve.

The Apple Music stability And it's up to 66 on Metacritic. I'd be so happy if it could somehow end up at 70. At least it's sitting below My Everything now. It being her lowest rated album was just not right.

Ariana Grande - 'petal'
Petal (song) is really growing on me. The more I listen to this album the more I realize she made the right choice with the singles.

Today was crazy. I just hope she's okay and being supported by those around her to get whatever help she may need. It makes the album have a very different vibe now...

The video of her and Ilya creating Big Feelings is so good. I already loved that song, but that video made me appreciate it so much more. I wish she'd just start releasing all the footage she has making her albums in some type of like documentaries or something, even if it was just on YouTube.

Literally you hit the nail on the head. If you've been a legit, longtime Ariana stan (I'm talking since her debut or before) you know this album is so quintessential Ariana Grande.

The way this album is so fresh and feels almost like a reinvention yet it's so Ariana at the same time It's amazing off first listen and I know it's just going to grow and grow. There's so much in the production and vocal production and lyrics to digest (especially since she's back on her mumbling, we're really gonna have to study the words). I am so happy she finally decided to go full Imogen daughter.

The Mr. S track descriptions have me SO excited. At first I was a little worried this album was gonna be just an eternal sunshine/brighter days ahead continuation, but from the sound of it, she's branching out and doing some fresh, experimental stuff.
