There’s an extensive 3 months rehearsals period now until they begin officially filming in November, yes. It will definitely take less than a year though.

After the first movie is shot, I imagine they’ll have a pretty lengthy break before the sequel so a year sounds accurate. Reshoots for both are inevitable too.

According to Chartmasters' estimates, it sold ~700k WW. But those numbers don't include the album sales in China (it sold like 400k digital copies there) and IFPI had it at 1m for 2019 (but these numbers include shipments).
