International Bjorks it is then

To be fair the idea shifted towards harsh Pitchfork scores (6.0-6.9) too because people often say they're too low for some albums

ALSO (I think I said this already? Maybe not!) @supaspaz has TLOAS and MBF earmarked for his rate.

EVENTUALLY.

With maybe a 7.3 thrown in for good measure. celestial

The thought of being a co-host / host assistant would be fun. As someone who can't commit to regular updates (I only really scroll ATRL when I'm bored at work or if I have random free time on weekdays LMFAO) and is horrendous at graphics, but would have fun with collecting the scores, updating the data and tagging people... sounds like a good compromise.

The way you have now become the co-host of 2006 MAKES THE WOMAN... DM me please.

First order of business is an actual PM-friendly list

You would still give the same averages...

Or can I do the 35+ Club of 2016? AIM vs. HERE vs. This Is What the Truth Feels Like vs. This Is Acting (lots of genre variation to be found here!). If not, give me a moment and I'd love to figure out what to do with these two (I'd have to get into the former but I do love a little NAO). :gaycat2:

This was never done... and would be a GREAT IDEA?

Also, is it time for a new thread? Leave the unpleasantness behind and all that.

Yes. New thread. Visible queue. My flop 2024 rate erased and forgotten.

That time I suggested a rate with Gangsta Boo being put in the archives forever

You should try taking your own advice, kettle.

Anyways, @supaspaz can you clarify if rankdowns also need moderator approval since they are not actually rates? I will go do them in the game section.

Another idea - a rate of all the Video of the Year winners, based on the quality of the videos ONLY. Can't believe we've never done it! Open to anyone picking that idea up and running with it. (Could even throw in the BET VOTY winners as well...)

Maybe we can ask a CaCa stan to host it, so that they can finally rate something that could be categorized as good out of her discography

One I've long wanted is a rate with all the songs the girls have done AFTER they've become mothers. (Actual mothers, not the Stan kind.) Ties into your holiday theme!

And have we ever done an Original Christmas songs rate? I can't remember at this point...

@That Bad Eartha did a Christmas classics rate throughout the decades in 2016 that had like 5 participants and I was there extremely festive and eager, it included all the covers tho obv

OMG I forgot about that one lmao. I really was in my "for the art, not the charts" era on some rates back then

That was a very important rate for me! I started my own Christmas playlist after that and the majority of your selection was the foundation for it, it was also during my freshmen year so that's the first time I was getting into the Christmas spirit on my own and then with my fellow festive roommate

Is this for song they've made around their experience of motherhood? Or like songs in general they released after becoming mothers?

Ex. Katy made the songs Daisies, Bandaids and Lifetime for her daughter.

Counter proposal. There are also pop songs that popgirls dedicate to their mothers.

Ex. Christina made Oh Mother and I Turn To You as a tribute for her mother.

I would like to mini rates - one with songs girls made about becoming mothers (or, maybe not - hello Kylie's "Flower"), and one about the songs they've made about the families that raised them - mothers, fathers, siblings, aunts and uncles (here's how "Heated" wins...)

Well, if we're being real.. Christina sang "I Turn to You" because Ron Fair brought it off of an All-4-One album that didn't sell.

But "I'm Okay" and "Oh Mother" would definitely count for the latter rate, and something like "All I Need" for the former!
