I'm absolutely shaking at the thought of sitting through Back to Basics imminently. @Ace Reject can I AI-generate my responses?

Spotify: Tyla's A*POP 2.7 million 3rd day
I don't know why people act like she was a surefire star waiting to break out. She's gorgeous and a great performer but there's nothing interesting about her music or persona, no standout "Tyla" thing. "Water" always felt likely to be a flash in the pan moment to me.

Main Pop Girls with their least best-selling studio albums, thoughts?
IDK, you're really downlplaying that CC had one of the most successful stadium tours of all time. I know it wasn't a long-running tour, but it gave the album a lot more attention than some "chapters" on Spotify. It's a bit shocking how poor the streaming longevity was despite the high-profile tour. Every gay person (and many women) I know went.

Today marks 10 years since Britney Spears released her last lead single, "Make Me"
I don't know why accurately assessing "Make Me" for what it is - a cute throwaway single with some nice vocal stacking - leads you to assume I'm a basic gay with "no taste outside of pop/dance." No need to resort to jabs. My fave is Janet, I am a huge fan of R&B and alternative pop sounds and would even say "Make Me" is a Janet-esque song. It's just nothing amazing, and that's okay.

Most recent lead single from pop girls: which one is the best?
How does Bring Your Love have so many votes? It's quite possibly the worst song on C2.

Even you don't genuinely believe this a better single than BOMT, OIDIA, Slave or Womanizer IMO MATM, HIAM and Work ***** easily clear it too but understand why someone could prefer Make Me. It's a cute song, absolutely, and a fun addition to her discography... but it's a rather generic mid-2010s sound, not distinctively Britney, and the production is cheap and repetitive.

Most streamed female/overall albums on Spotify in 2026 so far
It's really impressive that SNS is still basically keeping pace with HMHAS despite the hits having less longevity. Both smashas.
- Dido 4 most streamed solo songs are bigger than Xtina combined. Surprised?
