I used to play this all the time in the late 2000s, I remember being obsessed with collecting furniture and trading (through scamming people cause my mom would not give me money to buy credits that time ) and I vividly remember playing it in the afternoons after school, while watching That's So Raven. Eventually I decided it was a waste of time and logged off for good.

I recently came across a news article telling how they have changed servers several times ever since and now things are apparently different, but it seems like for their 25th anniversary last year they released a version that looks just like that one in the 2000s.

Seeing pictures and reading about it made me so nostalgic.

Anyone else here had any experience with Habbo?

Yes. I would use my aunts phone to get coins and buy furnies. Then everything was gone when my friend saw my password in my notebook at school I stopped playing around 2009

It's also the place where I first came out to people. I even was a 'radio DJ' at a Habbo fansite at some point, it truly felt like my community for a few years, lol

oh boy… during our first computer classes in elementary school (5th grade) we were kinda allowed to just do anything. Someone got access to Habbo and the whole class was on it. Since you could meet up with strangers I did meet up with some people in chatrooms, even going to the point we went to their private rooms to lay next to each other and have 'sex' Me being the stupid little boy that I was screaming into the whole class, oh I got sex hihihaha and got the whole website banned after one class

im got my first account given to me by my sister, she was called SuperPaige2 , so for my first while on there im just pretended to be my sister then im started scamming in falling furnis and got banned , so became SuperPaige3 , then banned again , SuperPaige4 ... by time i was done catfishing , i was SuperPaige12 this was in 2006 .. i stayed until 2011 . i had such great memories of being groomed on there . my First habbo BF went on to be hunted irl by a predator catcher gang and the video of him being stung appeared on my Facebook feed , turns out he was on crack too . im think about him soemtimes .

i used to be so addicted to this . im used to go on Ebay and buy habbo credits and furniture at bulk discounted prices .. im used to spend days creating new rooms and games , and id partake in the Hotel events . im was on all the Habbo fansite forums but got banned for most of them , im was a mod on one of them but got demoted and banned for using mod privilidges to find the email of a guy i thout was cute to add him on MSN .

there used to be a site , called bobbafaces , where habbos would submit pics of themselves . like a directory of Habbo faces of sorts . one time i had Beef with the admin of it , and she uploaded a false pic of me under my habbo name , it was a morbidly obese woman eating a cookie off her shoulder . this was a very Popular site and it RUINED my reputation it get made fun of while playing the snowstorm game or battleball , people would be like ' ive seen you on bobbafaces '

Yes I used to love this game at primary school, 2004-2006 was a ride, after that it got ruined. They got rid of 'hobbas' and that was that.
