This is tea. Michelle took what Alanis was doing in rock music (even though some considered it watered down) and made it more pop and girly. P!nk and Avril (and Katy, through her various shelved eras) then put their own spin on that, and Taylor's early music was basically that kind of pop rock with a banjo thrown in. But Michelle was the first pop rock POP star.

someone explain the 2021 Spirit Room re-recordings because those were god awful...she already sounds 10x better than those re-recordings on the new Game of Love

can we get the anniversary version of the spirit room back on streaming especially that alt version of everywhere

Branch may be revisiting the past, but she's looking forward to what comes next, too. After Everywhere and Back Again, the singer-songwriter will release what Alexander calls a " jaw-dropping album" of new music, Branch's first since 2022's The Trouble with Fever. "[This anniversary project] is a way to get people fired up about the past," she says. "In a way that also carries them along to the new kind of chapter that I'm starting."

I am ready for all of this. The re-recordings and then a new project to follow.

The Spirit Room re-recording was abysmal. I have also completed skipped her last album.

But, will always love her. Stream Something to Sleep to, Loud Music, Getaway and Best You Ever!

I am very underwhelmed by this tour announcement and lack of new music. Did anyone notice she got rid of the 2021 re-recordings? They're no longer available on Spotify or YouTube. This all seems so strange.

Edit: oh ok, so she is releasing a new album. I sure hope it's better than trouble with fever. That album was a huge snooze fest.
