Which foods do you log?

Featured Replies

For anyone who logs their food intake for fitness/health reasons, where do you draw the line? Obviously things like olive oil and chia seeds need logged since the fat is very high even though the amounts used are tiny, but if you add a splash of milk to a drink or use a certain cooking spray, do you log that too?

People who do this will never enjoy life to the fullest, they're just gonna die healthy.

a woman is sitting on a couch with her hands up and saying `` but now we said it '' .

if i'm feeling lazy on a day or eating out i won't log my calories. but im generally super disciplined and plan all my food/drinks in advance and weigh everything

I have to log everything (including beverages aside from water) because of medical reasons, and let me tell you, it really takes the joy out of eating. 0/10, would not recommend.

What are the macros for 100g of semen?

My banking app logs my expenses automatically for me so I know when I need to be careful to not go broke

when im bulking, i try only to count my macros and i also tend to struggle to gain at the beginning of a bulk because of how much i run plus my height so i try to just pig out as much as possible. when im cutting, i try to log everything i know about the food, and if im cooking ill use a food scale to measure as close as i can. BUT, i really only see the value in logging in order to get to a point where you can intuitively understand how much you're eating or for health reasons, its really not sustainable in the long term and leads to both disordered eating and a lot of body image shame for not being able to meet impossible expectations you and society might set for you. basically, if you dont need to either for lifting or for medical health dont bother diva

i log my gummy multi-vitamin. too many calories.

When I logged, I logged absolutely everything including all of the steps of a recipe ingredient list. I have since stopped but since I logged everything and my eating habits are mostly the same and have been for a very long time, I usually have a good estimate of how much I've consumed.
