Better than Gloria but still miles behind his first 3 albums. I wish this was a "ep" or "mixtape" . It's just painfully boring like the complete opposite of Gloria. It almost feels like a folklore album which isn't my cup of tea.

I'm a huge stan of Sam Smith but this is lacking the quality his first 3 album's had. I don't think i will return to this really at all. I'm waiting on that dance/edm album he's teasing.

Falling asleep even writing about this album let alone listening. Sam where is the spice?

I don't hate it, it's an solid pop record that got overshadowed by unholy.

The title track is a career highlight ngl

Moondance is good too

But the 2nd half is really boring

All things, I'm really shocked Sam is even charting in many countries in AM despite the lack of a hit.

Wait this is actually really working for me. Haven't enjoyed an album of theirs this much since the debut.

About to start the much hyped Constant Companion.

Their currently charting in 65 countries in Apple Music, the album is seemingly resonating with people finding the album

I was only interested in Moondance after hearing the snippets and performances on Twitter a few months ago and it's great. I'll give the rest of the album a listen during the weekend

Constant Companion, Everlasting Love, To Be Free, Love Is A Stillness, and When He's Gone

Constant Companion is undoubtedly the best song on here. Should've be the first single, heavily promoted, and it would've become a hit!

The album however is too acoustic, the production is too sparse. It works for some songs, but overall the album lacks proper punch. They could've easily switched it up a bit more on the three "uptempo" songs. I'm annoyed.

Anyway:

The Thrill of It All [classic] > In the Lonely Hour = Love Goes = Gloria [Unholy is still awful, but there are multiple proper highs on this one!] > Hazel Eyes

Overall, they have a pretty strong discography and we'll always be supporting a singer.

Gloria lacks quality ballads & Hazel eyes lacks bops. If both dropped the filter & become one album/project it would probably be his second best album.

i love gloria sm, also surprised by some comments on here, about hazel eyes hm, i have to say im so surprised by it.

some songs (thief, hazel eyes, love is a stillness, sugar rush) fell under radar for me, but i think they will hit how months are gonna get colder. i love the intimacy and vulnerability on this album and how they sing "low" with lower voice (when hes gone) and how songs progress by the end or in the middle, even the birdy whistle is stunning on love is a stillness. production is superb! instant hits: everlasting love, moondance

The album is magical. A 10/10 from me. I am so in love right now.

Title track is on repeat, my god.

This is so good.
