I think that's one of the reasons they're introducing Eurovision Asia. I wouldn't be surprised if they move Israel there, hoping that its participation in that part of the world would generate less controversy.

That's not really what's happening though. No one's buying their propaganda anymore, especially the Eurovision audience that boos them every time. Even tv shows and commentators in general all across Europe speak against Israel's participation. It's them forcing their way through with that hair product company being the biggest sponsor of the event.
