The Vanguard is basically an award they give to artists that have been successful and made an impact whether during multiple decades or even just one. It's barely about the quality of videos now. And its very about if they have something to promote or just PR. I can even come up with the list of artists that will get it in the upcoming years. Having said that, Xtina does have some memorable videos and she is definitely an icon.

This. People complaining are probably from countries who just don't have a good dubbing industry. They also only think of themselves even though there are old people who can barely read or are not that agile anymore, or have trouble seeing. Even people with disabilities. It is frankly really selfish. Some people may be illiterate for whatever reasons, and they do deserve to enjoy cinema. Countries like Spain, Germany, Mexico, Brazil... have really good dubbing. And you don't think you are missing anything.

No. I used to get really irritated anytime a song came on the radio. I only like how it marked a specific time in the 2010s and I can link those songs to memories. But as a music subgenre I do not like it very much.
