Artistically, yes — Family Portrait is a masterpiece. I'd even argue and say her best music overall is from her debut. Everything after her 3rd album though feels highly formulaic and fit the mold with all the generic top 40 pop-rock radio hits at the time. That's also when she began working with Dr. Luke and Shellback, and aside from some of his work with Kelly Clarkson in the pop-rock field, I never really cared for any of his work with Avril, Pink, and all those other pop-rock girls.

No it wasn't, Funhouse was cheap generic and basic copy of IND.

Pink, Kelly Clarkson & Avril don't get enough credit for me for the wave of punk pop music they brought & how it change the industry.

Breakaway, Under My skin & Fun House deserves everything.

The video for Get The Party Started is so good. I just know the late 80s/early 90s gaes were gagging down when they saw this on MTV

One of these is not like the rest I fear. Also, Funhouse was released at the tier-end of the pop-rock wave and into the electropop and indie pop wave that began to gain traction in 2008.

If anything, I'm Not Dead fits more along the grain with albums like Breakaway and UMS.

She was at her best when she was BlackPink but Who Knew is her magnum opus

I'm Not Dead was undoubtedly her peak. It only went south from there though she kept it together for a few more albums before completely washing away all the edge.

Yeah that was before you took on soccer mom energy. But I guess it makes sense since she was 20/21 during that era.

It was actually the Who Knew/U+Ur Hand 1-2 punch (and lowkey Stupid Girls too but we don't say that)

Mizundastood or however she spelled it has aged as well as its title and I lowkey only use Just Like a Pill from the singles (which desperately needs a remaster to hit like it's supposed to). But what a song.

Funhouse was A LOT more passionate and heartbroken than I'm Not Dead. I'm Not Dead is a brilliant pop/rock album but she topped herself with Funhouse because it's even more personal, raw and honest than the previous one.

To be fair it took P!nk a long time to become serviceable, I can say I enjoyed every P!nk Album until The Truth About Love/Beautiful Trauma.

She still has her chance to re-peak, her strongest point will forever be her lyrics. If she could give us What About Us, Wild Hearts Can't be Broken in 2017 I don't see why she couldn't serve the same level quality in her next album. What she really needs to reinvent is her music, she NEEDS to go back to Pop Rock or even just Rock/Blues Rock.
