AI Generated Songs Thread

Featured Replies

This one is a Taylor & Shakira collab. Shakira's voice sounds off and weird, but the song is actually pretty cute, and sounds like something both of them could've release around 2010-2011 in their Speak now/Sale el sol eras.

I remember all the overblown hate toward these covers and how they would destroy the industry when, in the end, people don't like them that much and they just forgot about them. They're good for understanding how a song would feel with a different artist, and thats it. We forgot about em. When this trend started i created like 40 ai covers from Shakira and there was a point when i was just like bored. There was no magic in those songs. Definitely creativity cant be replaced.

These Ai covers Is like havin demos, scraps, remixes on youtube. Theyre just there

From the AI covers I've listened to, the best one I've heard is Nightmare by Kesha. That one was really well-done probably cause that song originally belongs to Kesha

Something that is interesting about this is hearing singers from other languages in your native language. In a way, now I understand how Madonna, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, and Beyoncé sound to Americans with the ai spanish covers. If you're an artist and you want to expand your boundaries, that would be a good use of this technology.

Since this thread has already derailed, let me vent a little bit.

it's so annoying that in the current AI cover trend, the only thing kept from the original is the lyrics while the production, rhythm and even the melody are completely different. At that point it's not even a cover, it's basically different song. Yet people still say "this AI cover is better than the original" well you're comparing an afrobeats track to a disco track with entirely different melodies. People can be so dumb when it comes to music and it actually makes me pressed af.

I was kinda suspicious from the start (and sadly right) but the straight men in my neighborhood blasting this rock version of this classic song SLAPS.
