So after like 2 weeks of being busy
I started my day with Folklore and wow...

It still sounds so fresh so interesting to listen

Start from the opening track The 1 ... no matter what stage of life you are in , this sounds very relatable

then we Cardigan and TLGAD ... where we are lost in the storytelling of high school love to how society views women

then Exile and MTR ... provoke emotions like nothing could. These are songs that you scream

then mirroball shatters your heart .... we all have gone through this experience and some of us still do

the seven brings the hidden trauma of your heart

and just as you are wailing in pain ...

August comes to wreck your heart but in completely different direction.. you are again lost in the fantasy of love

and then the next track just kills you ... this is me trying is just painful... especially for many of us from lgbtq+ here

illicit affairs ... for you, I would ruin myself (enough said)

the invisible strings .. brings the hope of finding a love which is just within your reach

mad woman ... takes you into the psyche of Taylor Swift and many other female artist

epiphany ... the imagery is just insane, she is able to convey so much with this song

and as you turn gloom ... a familiar country sound lift you up with Betty

as we move to close to the end of the album ... peace and hoax wreck your heart even more ... you relate with Taylor and yet you can't be in that position

peace and hoax ... make you realise the love was doomed from beginning

I have listened to many mainstream artist albums this decade ... some excellent such as HMHAS , SOS , Chemtrails but nothing had come close to this

Folklore is the only album I go back to back again and again and again ( to quote CXCX)

Do you think any MPG (Taylor included) will be able to Top this album that came at the beginning of the decade ?

Folklore hasn't been topped in quality, sales or zeitgeist. The other pop girls should pack it up and retire.

I was just listening to folklore last night and wow what an album.

Also, a decade or more from now with new perspective, I believe Taylor can match or top folklore.

Short n' Sweet happened in 2024 and Man's Best Friend last year.

OR3 will be the album of the decade.

the way she literally topped folklore herself with the next two albums that followed
