  1. Did she record this in heaven? Everything is so airy and mellow. I'm loving it
  2. I don't consider myself an ex-Muslim because I was never religious. But I grew up in a Muslim family and had many Muslim friends. Believe me, they were not kind to gay people. They constantly condemned us, and some even believed we deserved to be put to death. To me, all Abrahamic religions are barbaric and have caused more harm than good. In a perfect world, I think they would be considered a banned ideology. And it's not just because of their views on gay people...their scriptures contain many ideas that I consider hateful and harmful. I don't think a modern society needs these kinds of beliefs.
  3. No, her early '90s work had already cemented her status as a legend. People either forget or don't know how important she was to the music industry and the LGBT+ community. There will never be another female artist with the same impact on the industry and on culture. And to be honest, she's still the only living legend out there.
  4. I'm so excited!! HTIMYLM was a grower, and not a shower. I love those, and want more!
  5. I'm sorry, sweetie, but looking at that list and the quality and impact those artists have had on the industry, Taylor's presence is an eyesore. It's like putting a paper crown next to royal regalia. She's definitely selling, that's for sure, but she's not selling IT And... ..so I will never be impressed. I you can't sing, then you can win me over with performance and stage presence. But let's not even go there with her...
  6. Mariah You can't blame them. There's nothing else to brag about besides the numbers. Kelce's stans never talk about the quality of the music, only about how well it sells. And yes, current streaming methods really inflate total numbers of modern artists. Swifties comparing her to Madonna or other big stars from the pre-streaming era is just...urgh. People never seem to understant this. But this is a whole different discussion.
  7. I'd say most artists struggle with this. Hits that stay on the charts for a long time are pretty rare nowadays. Of course, there are still some songs that stick around, but not many artists manage to do that consistently. I'd say Rihanna is the only artist with truly evergreen hits.
  8. requirements for AI-generated music to chart: The track is substantially human made How does this work? AI-generated music isn't made by humans. Or does entering a prompt count as substantial human involvement?
  9. Let's start a petition to ban this hateful dumb ***** instead The world needs less Heaton's and more Mamdani's
  10. Victoria never had a solo top 10 hit? I definitely like Mel C's effort the most. She started so strong with Northern Star. She lost me afterwards tho.
  11. Ohh this is not a hot look... An artist using AI is so ironic because it feels like indirect plagiarism.
  12. Everything is better than how the Polish do it (narration) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hHoCHM6HSJM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XhWY-Pgneqc
  13. Why did we let the Zara collab flop. It was a cute bop
  14. It actually is! We've met some amazing single guys and other couples. And somehow, it's kind of sexy seeing your boyfriend have sex with someone else. We both have our cuck moments, haha. Sometimes he even prefers to just watch. It's always respectful. We agreed not to have an open relationship in the sense that we can sleep around on our own, but doing things together is so much fun. We also decided not to do anything with locals because we had a bad experience in Berlin. Whenever we meet up with someone, we always make it clear that it's a one-time thing, that we're just visiting, and that we won't be exchanging social media. Afterward, we just want to be left alone. It's very rare we meet someone for a second time. But there was this one guy who became kind of obsessed after meeting up with us and stalked us throughout our stay in Berlin. Ever since then, we haven't wanted to take that risk with locals, or even with other visitors.
  15. I liked this song back then, but what made me fall in love with them were the follow-up singles Say You'll Be There and 2 Become 1. I became OBSESSED And omg, this kind of makes me feel old because I was 12 when this song was released. My brother and I shared a room. His side of the wall was covered with 2Pac posters, while mine was covered with the Spice Girls.
