I haven't done a first album listen paired with a nightwalk in probably over a year now, but Miss Jessica is kinda begging for one and also this is my first Thursday night/Friday morning in MONTHS where I don't have any commitments the next day until the afternoon so I'm grabbing a Parliament, taking a few more sips from my Cutwater, and gonna head out now for my first listen

holy sh*t the title track I'm actually j*zzing my pants right now bro why is Denver so dead on this Thursday night? this is so unusual I feel like I'm on some unknown planet or like I'm in a Twilight Zone episode OMG I almost just stepped on a stray cat's tai

this album is insanity, perfection from start to finish

how are people not liking Love You For omfg I just felt like the most badass anti-hero ever walking down this empty suburban street with the wind blowing listening to it for the first time

What a classy and smooth album, I'm pleasantly surprised. TFG! leaned a bit too far into camp for me but this hits the mark perfectly. 16 Grammies immediately going on my future wedding playlist

I can tell Don't You Know Who I Am? is very sexy and iconic but idk girl the breeziness of almost 2 am Denver paired with Love You For and Ride right after each other and the fact that I walked by two random stoners who were chillin by a suburban house incomparable tbh. I was BELTING my ass off omg harmonizing with Jessie #legg

Ride is still such a… well, ride Another great album from Jessie. Sauna is a HIT waiting to smash in the summer.

Had a first listen biking to work this morning and it's great. Really cohesive. Less in yout face bangers than her last project, but overall really strong. Will be really nice listening to this on vinyl

Only songs I didn't really care for on first listen are Love You For and 16 Summers. Maybe not a coincidence they're both about her children? I find the first one a bit cringey and the lyrics and melodies on the second one are very clunky imo. Also such a kii to have those songs in between all those horny songs

So happy she's touring Europe again, will definitely be seeing her!

Where are the creative girlies that know what it takes to give life to some good viral moments? I feel like that would be good for mother. She deserves to have those type of moments, she's just TOO good. Ugh

I never underestimate how creative and good the gays can be when it comes to creating something fun and smart at the same time.

I understand many people overlook it cause it is very chill track positioned between two very dance tracks such as Ride and Mr.Valentine (again, issue with the ridiculous track list order) but I think it is a very cute track and I think it would work well in radio especially since it is this type of feel-good doo-w0p style as for example Olivia Dean

Idk like.. I said it before, but she does not need to "switch things up", this is literally everything. It's gorgeous, focused, she knows exactly what kind of music she wants to make and she's so good at it. Love her

Love you for is the breeze of fresh air after two uptempo songs like Sauna and Mr. Valentine, it's an important song, it's cute but I get why it won't be most people's cup of tea. It can feel lost but it's very beautiful.

Exactly I think this album is a perfect mix of styles which feels natural to her and it shows

I enjoyed this but Freak Me Now (TERF-less version) was such a good spin on her sound, I wanted more of that here

btw everytime I hear Mr.Valentine and also a second half of No Consequences, it would be perfect for Austin Powers movie, all those little 70s electro psychedelic bits in the instrumental

excellent album unsurprising that there's nuance that can be very much be detected by her fans on here. it's not pure penthouse PARTY TOYMMMMMM like That! Feels Good! is and it's is a more subtle affair than the sexy pure bathhousecore of What's Your Pleasure? but it's sophisticated, cosmopolitan, and full of sonic surprises that make it a perfect closer of a speculative trilogy between the #threeee of them! to me, the title track really does evoke The Kill, which has recently become probably my favorite Jessie song holy shiiiiiit and Sauna, Love You For, and Mon Amour?? dude she f*cking ate
