Members with no fanbase affiliations and members who aren't diehard stans should be at the forefront for mod consideration. When 90% of the active mods are from the same fanbase you end up with this type of unbalanced and unfair policing of the forum.

HQ is the thread to express your opinions on how things are run. We actually give members a LOT of latitude when it comes to that vs other forums where any criticism leads to a banning. I wish yall would take that into consideration before you post nonsense.

Furthermore, there will never be anyone who has zero fanbase affiliations and thinking as such is delusional. The entire mod team is active, and there’s only a handful of people from “one fanbase” as yall like to say.

We go through this every time there’s a new mod class. People make false assumptions and accusations, the mods do their best to weather it but it’s not fair to them, especially when many are attacked for something they didn’t even do.

This is not journalism, there is no need to be “unbiased”. People can like/dislike who they want. As long as there adhering to our internal policies there is no problem. Some overzealousness? Absolutely. Which is the case with every mod class. But many of the things people are attacking them for is uncalled for and i’m going to start warning people for it.

This tea. I think I'd make a great fit for the ATRL mod team.

Personally I think we need Gracie, Sabrina and Grimes stannies as mods. They'll handle things accordingly with no bias.

Y'all merged two threads that had nothing to do with each other except for the artist

Gotta love Swiftrl

These threads were merged because someone requested it in the merge requests thread and at first glance they appeared to be about the same thing, not because of some shadowy conspiracy on the part of the moderation team. Hope this clears that up 👍

I do find it amusing how much people ***** about the mods around here when I've never seen another forum that was this lenient with criticism. People can come into HQ whenever they want and complain about anything they want and yet they insist this place is North Korea ddd. Some of yall wouldn't survive a day anywhere else

Maybe it'd be helpful if members could see which mods close and merge specific threads with reason why. This way, either the members can stop speculating or, if the members are correct, we can see which mod is acting shady.

vin

No it wouldn’t.
