Every day it seems like another celebrity is coming out in support of Lady Gaga. Not calling Jorgeous a celebrity, but still. I am honestly so happy that after all these years, mother is finally getting the recognition she deserves. I still remember when we were in the trenches and hardly anyone would openly admit to being a fan of hers, even when the influence was obvious.

Now it feels like the complete opposite. She has become the go to artist that people openly praise and look up to. There is an entire generation of pop stars stepping into the spotlight in a world that Lady Gaga helped shape and inspire.

More like pills, but I think we should give Liza Minnelli some grace here. I do believe that what she says happened did happen. At the same time, it may be getting framed in a way that was not actually Lady Gaga's intention. I am not sure about the producers of the telecast, but I can easily imagine Gaga simply being concerned for her.

That makes me think she may have either been alerted to something or personally noticed something about Liza that made her worry. This is someone who stood by Tony Bennett throughout his journey with Alzheimer's disease, so she clearly has a sensitivity to making sure the older people around her feel comfortable and supported.

At the same time, I can understand how Liza Minnelli might interpret the moment as a little condescending. I do wonder if Lady Gaga will reach out after seeing some of the headlines, because it is hard to imagine she would feel good knowing she made Liza of all people uncomfortable.

This whole Liza situation is so absurd. Why would Gar want to sabotage a legend? She loves collabing with old folks more than she likes working with people her own age like be so for real

That's why it's a non-issue and is being blown up to something that it simply isn't. I hate to attribute malicious intent coming from the Liza camp, but this is all part of the PR marketing push for this new book. I fear this story is being used to generate headlines and subsequently book sales. :/
