Honestly, is so easy for people to tell someone else to break up. You should totally try and have a conversation with your bf about this, even if the conversation is not about you tracking his followers/followings on social media. Try to think what's the conversation that needs to happen for you to stop this behavior. But, if your mental health depends on you bf's following/follower counts, not being in a relationship right now and working on yourself sounds like a good option.
