I don't think Gaga received enough credit for having a full Covid response. The other MPG didn't do much, but Gaga went all out to raise money

The way lately I've seen so many people turn on ROM and call it dated, but I'm not falling for that propaganda. That's still a 10/10 bop idc

I don't listen to ROM much but when I do it's a total bop. After the cover era, Joanne and ASIB it was nice to see her be able to deliver just a fun undeniably catchy pop song again. SL is the dated one, it sounded like she was Madonna in her 50's singing Give Me All Your Love, I was concerned she had peaked by that point but ROM proved me wrong

I think, creatively speaking, she wasn't too motivated over Chromatica. Up until the start of the tour, she's clearly influenced by Michael and the creation of Mayhem.

She didn't want to record music at that time, Bloodpop forced her to go into the studio. Literally dragging her out of her bed. That's why it is the way it is. Honestly, the worst part of that entire era, aside from the abandonment of ROM and the album in general, was the SL MV. That was borderline insulting. Thank god she came back to her senses with the 911 MV.

Nobody wants to wake up to the defamation I just woke up to. Don't Call Tonight is a hymn of the highest order and the people slandering it are tasteless.

It's funny cuz at the time of Chromatica a lot of liddos including myself said it was top 3 in her discography now its considered bottom tier.

I think its because a lot of us had been begging for something like Chromatica for YEARS, just straight forward pop music with very little strings attached more in line with The Fame and so it kinda filled that void. Still a good album, I just don't revisit a lot of 2020 music
