Her crew is LA-based, so flying them, parris, the director, the equipment etc to other cities costs money, and as we saw with the TDD MV (and other stuff) these days she's clearly more careful with her budget

Filming in LA is the cheapest way for her to record the tour

As someone attending the LA shows… it's really not a big deal.

She has camera people on stage every night even for the non LA shows for the screens and they get in the way from time to time and no one complains then
