I haven't seen anyone else observe that Cirkut out did Gesafflestein with his Abracadabra remix. This is why I think she should bring Cirkut back into the fold for the next album, he genuinely thinks highly of her, and wants to do the best he can for her. I have no idea how I feel about Gesa and his music, I'm not into edm artists tbh, but the results seem like new territory for her.

Even random pics of this tour look like paintings. Visually her best tour so far, maybe.

The Lady and the Legend is getting released in January 17, maybe they'll release trailer soon to get some Grammy voters attention.

Mayhem is #29 on AOTY website btw
her highest placement.
Chromatica ended up at 41. I'm sure Mayhem will do better in the end.

Michael falling off the stage is getting Gaga such good press. She's basically mother Teresa to the GP. jonny5

I took an edible and am sick not feeling well in bed with nothing to do so allow me to rant since the subject has been raised….

Disease and Abra are great music videos for 2025 standards, but Liddos do the most about them. They are far from being even in Gaga's Top 10 best videos. Y'all aren't ready for this conversation but I will start it anyway, and I wholly accept the downvotes that will come my way.

Gaga's older music videos had so much more effort put into them. Multi-day shoots, multiple different sets, a myriad of costume changes, narrative-driven, etc. You can't look at Paparazzi, Telephone, Judas, You and I, Marry the Night, GUY, etc and think the same amount of effort went into Disease and Abra.

I'm not saying that you need to have tons of different sets to make a great video - Bad Romance is a prime example of this - but compare Abra to Applause, for example. Both are choreography-driven videos shot in one black room, and Applause has sooooo much more detail to it. I get "the point" of Abra was for the focus to be on the excellent choreography, but that doesn't change the facts.

I'm not saying at all that they're bad videos - they are both excellent and have their redeeming qualities. Gaga served cvnt in Abra and that Lady in Red look might be her best video look… ever. And I love the daytime horror vibes of Disease. It works brilliantly. But I'm just saying both videos could have been better and they could have done more.

Monsters act like they're Godga's greatest videos ever because in the past few eras we've been dealing with boring videos like Million Reasons, Stupid Love, Dead Dance, etc, and comparatively Disease and Abra are a step in the right direction. But anyone calling them her best videos have amnesia and need to rewatch the The Fame Monster - ARTPOP (and 911, why not) and remember what Godga can do with multiple days of shooting, a budget, and some ambition. clack

Rotten edible, rotten esay. Time to find a new, better dealer.

When is this list closing? santa

Are we sure this time suburban

If this is true, a Japan broadcast in late Jan could hint at a streaming release sometime this month maybe? Ugh, still really want to watch this but I'll believe it when I see it rip

For 2024, the last review they included was published on 08.01.2025
So in less than a month it will be final

I forgot that documentary actually existed for release and wasn't a DWUW MV-type holy grail

It's so fun to see people discussing this album all year long. hippo Also The Beast lashings dddd kinda deserved. Should've been an interlude with the live arrangement.

music videos are not 'profitable' anymore, it does not give much return even if its a great video and that leads to lower budgets for mvs. "but its Lady Gaga" i know yeah, but she clearly has a different approach these days so michael

Agreed. I do think that's the main reason that the quality has still dipped. I knew my post would be controversial but I will say I did expect more people to agree with me especially given that the data across the board in the industry that you mentioned is a factor.

Is it really that controversial to say that Judas, Telephone, Paparazzi, GUY, Alejandro, Marry the Night, etc are all better videos than Disease or Abra? I thought that was obvious chick3

The streaming boost from the Australia and Singapore shows was good clap3This is why she should have been touring in stadiums only, Arenas just can't pull it off the same way, no matter how many shows she does in each city. Unlike Chromatica, people actually consume MAYHEM as a whole album and it's BIGGER record, hence the boost happened.

TBH, I think it has to do more with her not being in Australia for 11 years than the stadiums..
