Mayhem should have been a full rocky album full of Disease's, Perfect Celebrity's and Can't Stop the High's with harder production and DWAS as the smash ballad. She tried to mix the pop and rock to make it softer with lots of compression and adding in some funk songs, that the end result is Mayhem for the wrong reasons. I unfortunately don't think it can win album of the year because it isn't really a cohesive album

The main theme of MAYHEM is to not fit yourself in a box and embracing all different parts of oneself.

Making a cohesive rock album is exactly the opposite of that. Gaga had that thought in the recording process but quickly realized how forceful and dishonest to the many parts of her artistry.

I, too, initially wanted a cohesive rock album. But I think one of the main reasons MAYHEM has been so well received is because it sounds like what it wants when it wants.

Meanwhile GNX campaign is ass, and he's up against 23048204 other rappers on the AOTY category.

I hate the mentality of liddos sometimes because even though I wouldn't necessarily bet on it I'd say she has a solid shot this year and we should highlight that rather than the other way around.

Mayhem is doing better on year-end lists than most of her albums typically do, lbr. She's not hated by critics but she's not gassed up for them either because she doesn't send them checks.

Music critics still have too much brain rot around Gaga so I've let go of AOTY but lately I've felt like she has at least one of Abra's GF noms on lock.

Just imagine Perfect Celebrity, Can't Stop the High and Killah in full rock swing with heavy drums, guitars and vocals without all that compression. They needed to be more in the lane of Olivia Rodrigo and Evenescence. Disease is mostly fine, although they could have lifted the compression slightly in the last part
