Has it ever happened before that an artist performed + won AOTY on the same night? Starting to think the Recording Academy would want to please all nominees by equally sharing the stage...

  • Adele (2017): Performed and won for 25.

  • Lauryn Hill (1999): Performed and won for The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill.

EDIT: Wrong info

Amy was accepting the sweep remotely from London.

Yes, multiple times.

Jon Batiste with "Freedom", We Are (2022), Taylor with folklore medley (2021), Billie with "When the Party's Over", WWAFA (2020), Adele with "Hello", 25 (2017) etc.

A sweeper behaviour hihi

Do artists at the Grammys perform multiple times during one show or is there a rule they perform just once?

I mean. She could do a pop medley (Disease/Abra) and then piano medley (Happy Mistake/Vanish) for example.

No one noticed I deleted the sneak: Taylor Swift (2024): Won for Midnights - AI/her team tried to sneak her in, and purposely leaving out "performed"

I mean, she never won a BF Grammy and performed multiple times before... but I do hope this is a good omen

Yeah but as far as i remember she always won a televised one. If they announce Best Dance Recording as a televised category then it is probably OVER.

And they'll probably save her performance for last to get liddos to watch the whole thing
