I agree. I could see a role in a classical drama that's gonna have a huge focus on her performance (basically an Oscar-bait role, to recoup the last few bits of damage that FAD did).

It seems drama is her favourite genre and I love that she was able to make her way into the most prestigious genre but I'd love to see her bring those drama acting chops into a horror film. She started in AHS, horror is having an amazing revival and it would also prove she isn't just running after an Oscar and horror is relatively low budget so she could turn it into a hit, it's kinda like JLaw returning to film with a comedy, she needs to lower the stakes a little bit then make her way to a Martin Scorsese film or something.

I can also see her in The Diplomat in a guest role. (This should kickstart a lead acting role for Dramas)

She could play a republican senator (from Georgia) who is against Grace Penn. She'd be a great Anti-Hero for the plot!

Playing a republican politician would be a daring and contrasting role for her, given her personal views and activism.

I think the fact that Gaga is still a viable artist and her tours are huge is why labels don't feel the need to artificially inflate her catalogue via clipping like Justin and Katy (who curiously enough recently sold their catalogues).
