Lady Gaga

This is part 2 of the Lady Gaga discussion.

She spoiled me so hard for the past year and a half, pretty crazy to think that for the next few years well get maybe some random soundracks ballad or jazz.

I do hope this will be a TF-TFM situation and she was so inspired on tour that she release a new album soon again

Let's see 🙈

If she does do another album soon which I don't think she will but TFM would be a good reference in terms of length. Another 16 track album so soon is kind of oversaturation at this point, I really don't like yearly releases from artists or 30 track albums. A cute 10 track effort of only the best of the best songs and her randomly announcing it, with a message on how inspired the tour made her would actually be so refreshing and I could see the GP loving something like that rather than another huge era from her right now. It would also take off a lot of pressure in terms of numbers, if its given as more of a gift as sorts. Arts not charts and all that, and if the music is really good I could see it doing really well.

I do believe this will happen. I last time she recorded ON tour we got BTW pretty soon after

Also for next era since she obviously cant do massive promos like cochella and copa again, Id be here for a more "traditional" rollout with more TV performances and music videos instead of jumping into a world tour again. Cause i do have a feeling if the next album comes out late 2026 or in 2027 shell do a smaller tour

Please gag me with 31-track album or 3 albums at the same time please, Mother Monster 🤩🤩🤩🤩

You maybe think im delusional but i have a strong feeling whatever she recorded on tour wont be relesed in like 4-5 years, I do feel a new album maybe next year and didnt her father spill that shes going to Vegas next yerryan5

Pretty crazy that Mayhem era is over and we entered the silence erachick3

ARIES era is just around the bend

I didn't hype myself too much when she teased the Mayhem ball recording music because recently every time she teases music on tour it never sees the light of day… ArtRAVE recordings, JWT recordings with DJWS, Chromatica Ball recordings…

I agree with you guys. I think the next album should focus on being all killah! no filler. She's fully earned the fan-support without an extensive promo tour and it seems like the touring bubble is bursting so it would be the ideal time for a short era, focused on the music and quality-control, with just a few live shows if any. That's what I'm visualizing at least.

So I'm browsing the Gaga Reddit rn and some people pointed out that this new batch of Gaga signed vinyls didn't come with the same hype sticker (it was an orange box saying featuring DWAS, Disease, Abra, and VIY) on the shrink-wrap that the initial batch of signed albums came with when the album was first released. This gives me the impression that she signed these later on and they were deliberately released for Mayhem: Requiem as opposed to some old stock that they just found in a random warehouse.

This makes me wonder how many copies she signed/were released and sold last week? I'm guessing somewhere around 1k-2.5k, but we'll probably get a better idea on next week's chart.

I agree that a tight 10ish track album released next year (with the Mayhem Requiem sound) would work really well artistically and commercially. And even if she doesn't tour the album immediately (or at all) I think she/her team would have at least one interesting and noteworthy promo slot booked during the album's rollout.

The only thing I hope they do differently vs Mayhem's rollout is release the lead on a Friday with the MV (and all the appropriate playlisting/radio deals/ect.) and then release the 2nd single on the album release date with the MV (and playlisting/radio) and make it the first song on the tracklist. Other than that, they really nailed everything else this go around.

10 track albums aren't much of a thing in 2026. I think 12 tracks is feasible.

Her Tortured Joanne Department

If Netflix managed to make Beyoncé winning an Emmy for costumes when in her life she has never touched a sewing machine, it should be a piece of cake for them getting a Gaga one for songwriting.

Album of The Year

Lady Gaga - Apple Music Live: MAYHEM Requiem

Music Reviews: Apple Music Live: MAYHEM Requiem by Lady Gaga released in 2026. Genre: Synthpop.

Requiem is currently Gaga's highest-rated album on AOTY.com, with an 89 public score. Previously record holder was BTW with 80. Of course this is in part due to it having very few reviews still (only 121).

90 AOTY score now.

Kinda pissed off that no publications are reviewing this, but I guess that has been the norm for these specials anyways.

I see Genshin players using Disease recently teehee. So happy 😊

I could see disease eventually having a TikTok moment in the next two years.

I'm guessing on billboard mayhem requiem will chart separate and mayhem will increase? That's what happened with Dawn of Chromatica, we wanted them to combine but they couldn't cause the tracks were recurrent. So DoC got the peak and Chromatica a boost (but didn't chart)
