Whether at the movie theater, on TV, on radio, or the tabloids they can't escape her and it's why the fumes are so hot right now on ATRL

Not some weirdo stalking our base and taking screenshots of posts here instead of quoting (showing their age by the way!). lmao Some people really need to find a full time job cos damn ma, what a jobless behaviour. rip

Anyway, just watched mayhem requiem with my partner. Such a lovely farewell to the Mayhem era.

And ofc it was... that rip just sad and pathetic and not the first time either but considering the last 20 years or so...yeah. I'd be MAD as hell too.

@MaryJaneStardust you probably didn't know this but take it as a cautionary measure going forward, you don't need to bring a tweet with 30 likes to the base. Just let it rot on there. smile

And @ the OGHs, if your creepy ass is still lurking and you are reading this with a dupe, let it be known that Godga will ALWAYS stomp over and be seen as more talented, appreciated, and loved than your fave and you have to live with that suffering until the end of times.

I don't understand their hate. Do they need a reason. I know, I know and I know they don't need but M has just revealed CFS2 tracklisting, B is about to drop Act III, Katy released that greatest hits album. Why target at Gaga? So weird. Everyone all releases their contents. This is so sad

The way OGHs favs are all in the middle of career defining flops....AND they have to watch Mother repeak again? Truly the best era.

AM US

34. (+22) Requiem

Pleasantly surprised to see this so high and still climbing. This definitely seems like the best performing AM Live album so far beating even the likes of streaming giants like Billie and SZA? Granted, it has received more promo too but it's also one of the best live albums and shows ever created.

Also, the fact that instead of MAYHEM: Requiem we almost got MAYHEM: Harlequiem bc the initial idea was to make it fully acoustic deadbanana2

And that would have served clean vocals and ate just as hard

Just realized there won't be a Spotify streams thread for this since it's an AM exclusive. One less thread for the miserable OGHs to circlejerk in.

Idk if this was shared already but it kinda made me cry? Her mind, it amazes me everytime (also, this would be such a cool concept for a studio album WAP Gar make it happen for LG8 please)

100 years later, no one knows exactly who Lady Gaga was anymore.

The name survived, but distorted by time, like a legend repeated so many times that the truth is no longer distinguishable from invention.

Some say she was a singer. Others, a pop prophet. Others swear she never actually existed, that she was just a collective persona created by a generation obsessed with spectacle, excess, and emotional survival.

What remains of her is ruin.

The former Opera Haus of the MAYHEM Ball now appears as a devastated monument, buried under dust, rust, and decades of neglect. The stage that was once grand has become archaeological rubble.

And it is in this post-apocalyptic scenario that "MAYHEM Requiem" begins.

Not as a show.

But as a séance.

A Little Monster from the future, someone who never lived through the MAYHEM era, never saw Gaga in the flesh, never experienced the world before its ruin, finds that forgotten place and tries to make contact. Like someone spinning a dead radio station trying to capture an impossible voice.

And then the voice comes.

Distorted. Fragmented. Almost corroded by time.

The songs sound broken because they've been swallowed by a century of decay. They don't arrive clean: they arrive like surviving memories. Like deteriorated magnetic tapes. Like files recovered from a destroyed server.

There's noise, interference, glitches, but precisely because of that, everything seems more human. More visceral. The whole spectacle works as if the past is fighting to continue existing.

And then the phrase appears:

"Stranger, remember me."

It's not just a striking opening. It's a desperate plea spanning 100 years. Gaga is already dead in that universe. Her time is over. Her contemporaries have disappeared. Everything she meant has been buried by time. And yet, from somewhere distant, she still tries to reach someone.

A stranger.

Someone who didn't know her.

Someone who perhaps doesn't even fully understand who she was.

But who, faced with those remains, chooses to feel.

There is something profoundly beautiful in this: the idea that art continues to seek companionship even after the end. That an artist can physically disappear, become myth, noise, folklore… and still find a person, a century later, willing to listen to the heart beating within the wreckage.

"MAYHEM Requiem" transforms nostalgia into emotional archaeology. It's not about reliving an era; it's about excavating its ghosts. The destroyed stage ceases to be just scenery and becomes a symbol: beauty inevitably collapses, cultural empires end, icons disappear, but the emotional impact remains hidden somewhere, waiting for someone to rediscover it.

And perhaps that's what makes it all so melancholic and powerful.

Because at its core, "Stranger, Remember Me" is the most human fear possible: the fear of being erased by time.

But it is also hope.

The hope that, even after a hundred years, someone will find the fragments of what we were… and listen.

"MAYHEM Requiem" is now available on Apple Music and Apple TV.

Her versatility, her artistry, her talent WAP nobody is doing it like her

Requiem got me thinking, what if her decision to take on a more active role as a producer was influenced by reconnecting with Starlight after all these years of them being apart. Say what you want about the music she makes but she's also an experimental techno DJ and producer. Gaga also said she misses her Lower East Side community in multiple Mayhem interviews (Zane Lowe, Hot Ones).

Man, the joy upon watching her perform as a fully realized legend yesterday operating at the peak of her powers was comparable to the joy I felt when she would orchestrate her performances in real time with vocal chops and synth pads. Justice for Emma!

Emma-1.jpg

I just know she had to stop herself saying "put your hands up" multiple times during Requiem

Gaga loves Killah so much. Its so clear. Yall SHOULD respect that, tbh. next
