Now that I think about it, it kinda is a sincere love letter to all the things Gar loves and all her fashion inspirations throughout her career. The references to past looks, Warholian pop art, Leigh Bowery, Isabella Blow style hats, Klaus Nomi B/W imagery, club kid imagery, latex and leather. An amazing, deeply intentional video for such an unserious song.

Had to leave minutes before it dropped, but whew, the mv actually turned out great.

If I wanted to be a lil delulu and try to give meaning to this video, I'd say it's another video where Gaga shows her love for the Queer community. The video is very, very gay, like almost everything she does. While it doesn't seem to have a narrative, I could see it as a "love letter" to her queer fans.
