She has already referenced Malcolm X, who was openly pro-Palestine.

It would be logical to reaffirm such concepts, since it appears that we are back in the 1940s.

We've had this conversation before, but again I do think it's a valid critique that she hasn't spoken up about it and people are allowed to voice that. Bey is political by nature and I don't think it's unintentional. The cold reality is all of our faves are morally corrupt in varying degrees that's just the nature of being a celeb who has wealth and power.

The issue I have with this whole situation however is we are quickly seeing a snowball effect of this topic becoming stan war fodder and I do not like it at all. People boycotting or promoting certain artists, who has or hasn't spoken up, how are YOU as an individual aiding the people of Palestine by yelling in the echo chamber that is Twitter? Or better yet, why are we not directing this passion this anger towards the event distributors themselves? Ticketmaster, the stadium owners, these are the true people that hold the power within the system. What Ed and Pink are doing is pathetic and cowardly and there is critique to be had over what they've done, but I feel like the collective group is not rallying for the right problem or enemy in this situation.

But at the end of the day, all discussion is good discussion because we are seeing higher powers actively trying to deny or erase the blatant genocide and propaganda happening in front of our eyes. Idk what the right idea is, but I think at the core it wouldn't hurt for her to speak about it. At this point we should all be aware that people hate her regardless of what she does.

On the other hand, we don't want a situation where every artist releases a statement on every issue. Imagine if they were to give statements on some issues and then the public would demand one for every issue. Artists aren't the ones that make decisions. They can influence public opinion, but they still don't hold the real power. It is dangerous to rely on them to give political statements on everything, especially since they're not the ones we should follow on those issues. The best thing she can do is send a message through her music, and I hope she does on act iii

I believe her views on the genocide are acceptable, especially since we know Solange's stance. They wouldn't differ much

Yes. YES and MORE.

It goes beyond everything. The artist who has inspired me for decades, who has stood up against injustice and inequality and racism and always worked for liberation through her art. THAT woman. Who, in the latter stage of her career, makes it clear that she wants her art to provoke, make people think, be culturally relevant and inspiring... a woman who is rich beyond comprehension (and I love her for her success too). I am disappointed in that artist for staying silent on a LIVE GENOCIDE. Do people comprehend that we are witnessing ethnic cleansing and apartheid in 2026? Bankrolled by American taxpayers? Not just Palestine. Sudan! Congo! (which again has the same main players, US, Israel along with Russia, UAE, Saudi). I want that woman to speak up. Not just as an artist, but as a human, as a normal person. I expect this from everyone at this point because how do you square with your soul? If we can clearly understand where we would've been during Apartheid in South Africa, the various genocides across history, including the one in WW2 and so on... how on EARTH can we expect silence today? And then get into the semantics of commerce for protecting the further enriching of billionaires in 20 ******* 26?

I do give her some leeway because people are CRAZY about anything relating to her, and she is a black woman. Sure. And that has led to her not speaking at all outside her art. So I expect fully act-iii to say something. Even though she missed the main window and we all know one day everyone would've been against this. Where were you when it was uncomfortable? When it was difficult? Sigh. Sorry for the rant. I do feel strongly about this. I'm an empath and these last 5-7 years, as I entered my mid 20s, have been soul crushing. Humanity is ******. I do expect the artists of the world at least to speak truth, speak truth to power, and to give us all whatever sliver of hope is possible.

truth is that pissing the powers that be off is not something she is willing to do in fear of losing money, sis never was the activist ya'll claim her to be and has always used metaphors and sybolism for everything

I stopped looking for politics from Beyoncé since the day she: 1) crossed the picket line to continue with her Oscars afterparty; 2) wore an anti-Mexican and anti-Native American shirt simply because it promoted Black soldiers; 3) she wined and dined with the Kushners/Trumps for a damn casino permit.

It's clear her politics have certain . . . let's just say, conditions.

She's not infallible. And she's not perfect. And I made peace with that.

I wanted to say the exact thing also why always "Palestine " mind you i get it and im all for a free palestine but its givng very "performative " ....Congo , Sudan etc never get this traction nore do people salvate for speaking up for those causes like they do with Palestine but then again Black causes ofc arent as.... It's been my observation as well since the genocide started. "Performative" is a good word to describe it as well. It's easy to bully, cancel, call out and shame regular people and celebrities which have little to no power to change things rather than people who have actual power to influence change like billionaire CEOs and presidents of countries.

Yes, Bey should speak up because she has a huge platform and it will at least raise awareness. But those people's energy should not be focused on her or Ed Sheeran for that matter...

I was so disappointed that she didn't pull out a guitar during the tour. Almost every mpg has played some form of an instrument on stage at some point in their career. When Shakira reminds us that she can do it all I get a little envious. Why isn't my fave doing the same?
