I think this is more serious for the Hive than it is for the Carters. They distanced themselves from him from the moment he started losing his ****. The carters share a long history with Ye (especially Jay). Bey forgave her abusive and cheating father, her cheating husband, and god knows how many more people behind the scenes. I really don't think a Kanye rant (among a million unhinged episodes - with literally 10s of thousands of tweets) is something B (or Jay) couldn't bring themselves to overlook of forgive.

And forgiveness doesn't mean accepting him again, that is a different process. I think B is really someone who believes in healing (and forgiveness) and I don't think they care about Chloe or anyone else attending his concert.

The ponytail look was the only time B slayed the MET. I don't really care for fashion but I do care for when B shows out and stomps everyone else. I hope she has a killer look.


Also, these umbrella's hiding literally even a glimpse of her tells me she really does NOT want to be spotted until she makes an entrance next (it could be MET or it could be some other public event - I think of superbowl before CC... wow what a moment!).

I also think she knows people will speculate on her size, looks, etc. especially post the F1 thing (we know she sees it ALL). Maybe that is strategic too.

Let Beyonce worry about how she feels about Chloe. We don't know the ins and outs

during the have mercy era in 2021, chloe said in a couple interviews that shes a ye fan & said hes one of her inspirations in producing music.

Knowing how her red carpet looks can be a hit or miss, my expectations for The Met are low. I also don't care about her appearance if it isn't music related lol. It's not like we will be getting a live stream of her co-chairing from the inside…..we are gonna wait till LATE, she appears last on the carpet, she takes few pictures then go inside with no music announcement or anything…..

I think if she's going to do any covers there is going to be meaning behind why she's chosen them, not just because they're Elvis but because the song particularly says something more than what's on paper like Hound Dog originally being a hit recorded by Big Mama Thornton before Elvis made his and sold like 20x more than her.

Nah. I would bet Beyoncé would rather watch Kanye catch on fire and burn to hell than forgive him. They have never forgiven someone or been in a place where the person publicly dragged their babies. It's one thing if Beyoncé herself got dragged by Kanye but to drag her children and even ms Tina is where it ends for her. Yes it is serious

Well yeah, I feel like she's already covered that topic. Even in Dreamgirls. Covering any Elvis song, imo, accomplishes the same thing given his history. She could also do an interesting take on In The Ghetto, imo. That could be powerful.

Ya she's covered the topic before, but this project is literally about that topic. She's already elected to discuss it, so why would that And those Elvis songs are from the latter part of his career and thus long after rock had been very established, and aren't especially interesting songs in terms of subtext.

That song you mentioned may have been first released by a Black singer four months earlier, but it was not a single until after Elvis' was, so it's not really the same as Big Mama Thornton getting the biggest hit of her career, and then a white guy taking the song and selling 20x more than her.

I'd be interested to see what she'd do with an In The Ghetto cover though.

Looool I love coming in here and seeing the back and forth about Act III. While I do agree that she's going to be quiet until the Met, I really don't understand the people in here claiming it's unrealistic she's releasing in May or even this year loool like what on earth could suggest she isn't - we know she uses promo opportunies to launch different aspects of the trilogy, I do think the 29th thing has some sort of significance and even if not - we know it's coming in the first half of this year because why wouldn't she follow the album-tour-album-tour-album-tour structure after 4 years of doing so?

I do hope we get 3 singles before, and I REALLY am trying to ignore the fear that ACT III is the visuals and not an album bc I think I'd self-implode.
