Taylor Swift has given you like 20 albums atp, can you just stream them and leave us alone

Other than Shakira, she has the 2nd best daily streams on spotify 

 

No other artists from 90s or early 2000s r even close

 

Mariah, Celine, Madonna, britney, jlo all either chart very low or don't on spotify daily artists charts

It's so funny to watch Swifties struggle to understand that numbers don't equal quality or praise

What went wrong but all tracks (minus one) have over 100M tracks, meaning people were playing the album as a whole, and not just a particular single made up for >50% of all streams

What happened was an enduring piece of art was created showing a full landscape of musicality, intelligence, and history - something that will be looked to by historians, artists, and culture-interested people long after we're all gone from this earth - rather than intentionally bland and mainstream pop that will die along with its basic fans.
