Only once but the guy used obvious internet pictures  so I just went along with it until I got him to show his real face and then immediately blocked him

His profile said early 30s.... he looked late 40s/50s.

Yes, multiple times. Usually I just made excuse that I had urgent matters to attend to if the guy ended up not looking like his profile picture

Oh yeah, several times, sometimes I could tell it's someone I know.

 

I never met a catfish in person though, I can't imagine having the nerve to invite someone over after showing fake pics

I catfished one guy back when I was like 16 or sum, I used to feel guilty about it but as i grow up i realized he was in his late 20s early 30s (i dont remember) looking for underage guys like me lol

I've been catfished before. I thought "this guy is way too hot to be into me this much." So I searched his phone number on Facebook (back when you could still do that) and it linked to some gross old man. 

 

I've also done the catfishing. There was a guy on Grindr that I knew in high school. He was never that hot but he had a nice bulge. I wanted to see it but I knew he'd never show it to me, so I sent some photos of a friend of mine (and got what I wanted). Then I got delusional and thought "maybe I'm being too hard on myself. Maybe I would have a chance with him." I came clean and told him who I really was. He asked "who was in the pictures before?" and quit responding. A few months later I saw him on the app again and tried to apologize for catfishing him. That got ignored too. I'm always afraid I'll see him in town someday and he'll confront me.

Not catfished per se, but I've had a couple of people who used old pics of themselves. One guy I jumped when I saw him irl because I was shocked at how different he looked. He was like "What's wrong?"
