What country do you live in and how many have you visited?

I'll go first. I live in America I'm twenty eight years old and I have been to 30 countries. I just got back from Sweden last weekend which was #30 for me.

Bonus questions

2. What country would you never go back to?

3. What country have is next on your bucket list?

My favorite country to travel to are The Netherlands, Japan, Greece, and Italy.

I want to see Italy, Poland and Japan next :jonnycat:

I'm not as well travelled as I would like. :skull: I'm from Scotland, and I've been to the USA (multiple times to a few different places), The Bahamas, France, The Netherlands and Ireland. I have a trip to Switzerland planned for October too.

I don't know about you, but I've been to 22.

Tho honestly I don't think it's the best measure of how well travelled you are. You can criss cross most of Europe in a couple of weeks and add a dozen countries to your list but you would have spent a few days in each at most. Or you could perhaps only visit 4 or 5 countries in your lifetime but over longer periods of time and get well acquainted with its people and culture.

On unrelated note, recently I started a Leaderboard of cities I spent most days in as a tourist. It goes something like this:

33 Oaxaca de Juárez

29 New York City

25 Puerto Escondido

24 Los Angeles

23 Amsterdam

23 Atlanta

20 Oxford

13 Washington DC

12 Dallas

11 San Diego

10 Mexico City

10 Honolulu

I've been to around 16, I'd love to travel more if I had the money to it. Would love to go to Mexico one day :smitten:

I've had the best vacations in France, Turkey and US. Good food, people were nice (maybe not France), interesting history, beautiful nature with a large variation depending on region.

I don't think I would like visit UK again. Brits were friendly, but the atmosphere was off :skull: People seemed a bit tired or down because of the economy.

American here, and i've been lucky enough to go to 32, all of North America, most of the Caribbean and Europe helps those numbers :gaycat2:

Looking to go to South America next, big blind spot in my travels!

After that I'll probably just slow down and go see all the US states I haven't been to. I dream about so many road trips through Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, New England, Hawaii..
