Can't blame her for not putting the video on YouTube given views don't contribute to the Hot 100 anymore. Yes, the video has massively boosted the streams but it's only logical to premiere on the places it counts for.

I'm surprised its numbers are so high given the lack of celebrities or big moments (outside of Taylor, Madonna, Sabrina) but this is huge for MTV. I hope it means that artists will start attending more often and using it for promo again. I'm so bored of album cycles now when artists drop their album and disappear.

It's debut numbers were good but anyone pretending the second and third day numbers aren't bad is truly deranged. The single was initially launched individually and completely separate from the deluxe, with time limited and exclusive CDs, a music video premiere at the VMAs in ADDITION to a special award created for her coinciding with the release. It's being treated as the lead single of the deluxe and this is WAY after the parent album's initial single roll out. Let's not act obtuse

The video is one of her best and, honestly, has made me like the song more. Unfortunately the bridge is so painfully atrocious and the rest of the song isn't strong enough on its own to warrant more listens. They really should've made a radio edit

Anyone who says these aren't big numbers are just saying anything, but I wish people would stop rewarding her mediocrity because she'll just continue to put out this ass music

Witness, CTTR and Roulette are actually really good songs, it's the rest that's a mess (Tsunami, Déjà Vu and Power aside)

That's Showbiz, Baby absolute washes TLOAS in every metric aside from actual sales. Better production, better aesthetics and visuals, better writing and a powerful and cohesive body of work - there is no comparison

Okay, here's my two cents: Patient Zero - why is this the lead? It's so painfully dull. Aside from the lyrics being the only saving grace until that word salad of a bridge barges in Cleveland! - the verses are embarrassingly terrible in every way but the chorus has me shifting like that Jay Z gif, I actually don't mind it if I ignore the lyrics Pink Clouding - it sort of feels like a rehash of Lover/1989 (complimentary), and i like the chorus and the adlibs in the back Babylon - This feels really out of place on the deluxe but it's EASILY the best song and better than 90% of the standard. I wish she kept it for her next body of work. Considering this is what she came up with after the release, I would say the tracks are on par with a lot of the track listing, but I don't mean that as a compliment None of them are as terrible as Cancelled or Actually Romantic but she would've, should've, could've ctrl + alt + delete on some of the standard tracks and put in Pink Clouding and saved Babylon for TS13

The Showgirl era and her career choices have been miss after miss for me lately. But whilst this doesn't feel "connected" aesthetically to the album, it looks and sounds really promising, kinda perched for her to be back on form

If the baton was ever passed from Madonna it would go to Beyonce I'm afraid! Gaga would be the next successor tho
