So far this year has been boring AF for popgirl fans....we are halfway through the year yall. Only Gaga's Mayhem has been eventful. Addisons album has been great but it's a debut and there isn't an eventful aspect to it / era so far. I am also anticipating Sabrina's album "Man's Betch" but I am underwhelmed with the lead single so far...ugh

anyone else feel like 2025 is such a SNOOZE of a year for popgirl music?

Girl we literally have PinkPantheress, Addison Rae, Tate (whether y'all like her not I really dont care, shes doing the damn thing), Rose Gray… this is an excellent year for pop music

Yeah this is the most dead year musically of this millennium so far imo. But there has been one iconic AOTY deserving pop girl album this year at least despite it being mostly overlooked  Wall to wall bangers and excellent visuals

 

 

This year is only boring for those who stan 2 artists and listen to them ONLY. My whole personality and aesthetic today is a lyrical & vocal salad of multiple 2025 albums  and it's only the beginning since Halsey is gonna give me some new content in August

2025 is such strong year for POP and music lovers. you are missing out if you listened only to mayhem

2025 is looking good with Type Dangerous and Amerie making a comeback. 
MC16 and Amerie's new album will be highlights for 2025.
